While the guide was away, the guards will play. Chosen didn't have playing on his mind, though.
Drumming his fingers over the table and staring blankly at the materials one gives to newborns, his mind on something else... but he'd try not to let that get to him. With a sigh, he stood and stretched, no hand making a movement to remove the rose he held by the tip between his teeth: His hands were busy pulling on the hems of his gloves to make sure they were on right.
With a little flip of his hair to make sure it all fell into the proper place, he was ready to go... and just in time; he heard a movement and cracking.
"Thank you for waiting until I freshened up," he said with a laugh to the sea of cocoons.
