Summary: A trip to the Wilderness goes tragically wrong. Or at least is highly disturbing.
Cara sighed and shook her head as she got into the elevator, trying not to think of the rather close call she'd just had... she'd barely managed to hang onto the branch when the tree had decided it wanted to give her a big, giant hug and declare its everlasting love. Not that she wanted to be rude to it but--how did a tree have a chest like that?
She leaned against the wall of the elevator and punched the button for the Wilderness. Okay, so she was going on her own. She wanted to see just what it had turned into... besides, someone else was bound to show up there too, right? It didn't sound like there were any monsters there (though of course she still had her spear). And there wouldn't be a tree wanting to marry her. Or whatever it wanted.
