He was not happy with this new development, but not for the obvious reasons- blah blah blah, big cat, blah. No. He was oddly comfortable in this form, and he could even speak (thank fucking god), but there was just something that poked wrong at him.
For the first time, he was afraid.
Afraid of what? That he didn't get. Maybe afraid of being looked down upon- no. He certainly looked more fierce this way- no one wanted to mess with a great white cat. Panther. Yes, panther.
... Where did that come from?
His kitten, Verde, mewled impatiently at him. Oh, right they were outside to clear his head. Of course. He snorted at the little ball of fur and headed off at a slow, easy pace towards the park, Verde following behind him. He wondered if he'd be recognized, unless he spoke. Well, only Kazahana has seen his cat before, so there might be a low chance of recognition.
Thank god. He's assured of having a low chance at getting laughed at by Helios and Oath after this is done.
