1. Alas, I was unable to buy a headband with cat ears. Because I have no car, I only get out to the grocery store (and the mall next door) once a week, generally on Saturdays... and by Saturday, the only cat ears left were the metal-studded ones that were part of a dominatrix-kitty getup. Wow, so long ago and they're still following up on it. I don't know if it says a lot on their tenacity or their lack of means or my own rather remarkable lack of expectations. XD; Still, that's kind of neat to know.

I guess more that it was shelved as a cold case to be reopened if there was new evidence... and suddenly evidence appeared! Life is weird like that.

Too bad about the costume (my son -- for his last year) went as an Occupy Wall Street protester but modified to Occupy [insert name of his middle school] with We are the 99% written in algebra. and so odd about the burglar but great news regardless!!
