I have discovered a neat trick for taking apartment photographs in [building redacted]: stand on the windowsill. :D
The windowsills in [building redacted] are as deep as a bookshelf, and while I'm not remotely as flexible as I used to be, I can still climb up easily via a desk or bed, and it offers a unique angle that both gets a lot of the room in one shot and also makes it look somewhat larger.

I'm never going to tell anyone because I know I'd immediately be forbidden to repeat the trick for fear of workplace injury compensation and such. Which is fair, I guess, but would be highly inconvenient for me.
(Also I take apartment photos in my socks and leave my shoes in a kitchen cabinet. First, it's a little easier to climb weird places without my work shoes. Second, if I have to sit on a bed with my legs tucked at a weird angle, that's easier to do without big clunky shoes in the way.
