Notes: For
feywood, again!
It's a downright sin, the way River's body feels under him, pressed up so near Serenity's engine -- the heart of the ship -- that they can both feel the power of it shuddering through their bodies. It's definitely a sin for him to kiss her again, kiss her mouth open and wet, for him to run his hands over her body -- for, damn it, for him to squeeze her breasts. And the noises she makes make it worth it, even though he can practically feel the flames of a very special hell just waiting for him.
"Want you," she says, her teeth a little sharp reminder that she ain't helpless. "Let the sin be mine."
"Don't think it works like that, little one," Mal says. He kisses her again, again, again.
"I'm the one taking advantage of you." She smiles at him, knowing enough that he thinks she's probably right. "Come on," she tells him, sweet and soft in his ear, and he feels a little wrong inside knowing that she knows just what he wants and shapes herself accordingly. There's a touch of Inara in the way she moves, a touch of Zoe and Wash's steady and grounding love in the way she cups his face and presses kisses to his jaw when he pushes on into her, and he knows she's making herself up of his longings. Something of Kaylee's easy confidence in her body in the way she bares herself to him.
He pins her against the engine casing, kisses her hard, and he makes love to her as River, River, only River, pushing all other thoughts away until he hears her gasp -- a soft gasp that's all her own, lost in pleasure, and that, that was what he really wanted, that --
She holds him tightly afterwards, cradles him against her, and it's Nandi, it's Zoe, it's understanding and mother-love, but he's not fooled.
