They always turn the lights off, but that doesn't mean they let Dean hide. Jess got over herself pretty fast -- she's scarred, but she's alive -- and neither Sam nor Dean care at all, but Dean's king of One Rule For Me and A Different One For You. He's sure that it's repulsive -- and yeah, maybe he gets a few odd looks, with his burnt clawed hand and his seared cheek, but Jess and Sam don't even see it, they just see Dean. So even with the lights off they find it, kissing along the line of the scars, even as he turns his face away from, even as he refuses to touch either of them with his burnt hand.
"You saved me," Jess breathes, into his skin, when he's inside her and holding her so tightly that she almost can't breathe properly. Her mouth is against his burnt cheek and she can sense him wanting to turn away, but Sam's there too, and they're never going to let him run away. "I want you," she says, then, and he shudders and Sam holds him, holds him together. Jess kisses the scar, licks at the edge, and moves with Dean. He makes a broken sound, and she looks to see where Sam has gently taken the burnt hand into his.
"I can't," Dean says, and Jess kisses him, forbidding the rest of that sentence, and Sam whispers something in his ear that makes him shake all the more.
"You can," Jess tells him, breathlessly, and he puts his good hand on her hip, guides her, and she holds him, holds him as tightly as she can, and kisses the tears from his cheeks after, smoothes his hair.
"We're not gonna let you go now," Sam says, and Dean turns to him, desperate and needy and so, so good, and Jess wants to watch, wants to see. She wants Dean to be able to have the lights on, wants to be able to see him, all of him, scars and all. She wants him to believe in her, in them, to believe that they're not gonna run away.
He saved her -- how can she ever let him go?
