Rosa slowly pulls away from Rydia, laying her down comfortably and smoothing back her hair. Rydia confuses her: one minute she wants to comfort her, in a comfortable, motherly away. The next she wants to kiss her in an entirely unmotherly way.
Mostly, it's Rydia's strength coupled with vulnerability that intrigues her. That's what she says to herself, anyway. It's the way she's both strong and fragile, the way her magic dances out from her fingertips in battle and yet her hesitance to actually kill -- slight, but there.
Rosa won't solve her, she knows. But she likes to imagine she will.
