Almost a week since the last update... seems like there's a trend going on here. It's official, folks. I'm on vacation! No big plans, really. I just needed time away from that place and I figured what better a time than the week of my birthday!? Plus I work at a place that's so lenient on time off that I could easily get a day or two here and there for day trips to the beach or to visit my Dad up in Maine. I started my vacation off yesterday by dropping a total of $618 on just 2 bills (excise and insurance)... how cool is that? Then on the 20th of this month I've got my car payment due of $317. I like immediately having to save again. NOOOOOOOOTTTT!! Oh well, I guess that's the price I pay for getting a 2005. Stupid Ed (stup-Ed!).
Not all bad news to report, though. Jenny and I have officially been dating for over a month now! (the 9th is our anniversary date). We had planned to go out for dinner to celebrate yesterday but what with my expensive bills I couldn't afford it :(. I told her we could go on my birthday, the 17th, so that's what we're gonna do. The dinner was also to celebrate her state certification, which she got on Wednesday (congrats, hun, I'm proud of you!!!!!). Speaking of my birthday, no big plans for it. Jenny and I are gonna hang out all day which is always great! And we're gonna go visit my Babci up in Savoy because her birthday was on the 3rd and I haven't seen her in a while and I wanted Jenny to meet her. Then we'll probably go out for lunch (or lunch first, whatever) and come back here. My mom's still not sure if she'll be back in time from New Hampshire or if they're even coming back at all until Saturday. No biggie... as long as I get to spend the day with Jenny and I get my Fierce Grape Gatorade (it's tradition) I'll be happy.
Jenny and I were looking at Promise rings last night because I mentioned something about them in passing and we thought it'd be nice to get them for each other for our 6 months. Wow... we are SUCH a couple (it's a good thing!). Anyways. It turns out that the A.C. at my house does work and thank God for it! It feels so nice, especially when you first come in from outside. It's a luxury I missed.
It's gonna be nice having the house to myself all this week. I probably won't be home much (I'll be over at Jenny's as usual) but it'll be nice to come home to a house all my own and barbecue at 2 A.M. if I want to (which I probably will do).
Right now I'm waiting for Jenny to get out of work at 11 and then we're gonna hang out and watch T.V. or a movie or something... that's why this entry doesn't seem to have much purpose. I really have no ambition to update, nor do I have much to discuss. I wanted to look at beach cabins in Hawaii (for 2 years from now) and hotels at Hampton Beach (for this summer sometime) so I might cut this entry short and do that soon.
My softball team sucks. I'm hitting decent through three games, going at a 5-9 clip (that's a .555 B.A.) but other guys are hitless in their last 4 or 5 games. The defense gives up a few runs here and there cause of errors or just a lack of attention. I've DH'd twice and caught once... I caught last game and hurt my right shoulder real bad, we lost that one 7-4 and that 3 run difference was due to a fly that should've been an out but one of our outfielders over-charged the ball. Que sera sera. It's still fun to play, it'd just be nice to win one.
Ok... I'm done updating. Maybe if I'm ambitious I'll update with a more meaningful one tomorrow. Ta ta.
