Back in NY.
Had lots of fun the last week. Ann Arbor is nice.
Sandusky, Ohio isn't as nice, but Cedar Point (amusement park) is awesome. Great roller coasters (and a few other rides), and then I also went swimming in the pool and the lake. Lake Eire is... odd. Looks kind of like the ocean, but doesn't smell (or taste) like it. Also, 'swim' is a loose term, because there was a large, roped-off swimming area, but my dad and I walked all the way out to the farthest rope and the water was up to our... knees. D: So we sat down and let the little ripples wash over us. Went in the jacuzzi thing later and chatted with people. Went to the spa with mom, mmm nice. And went parasailing! That was niiiiiice!
Then flew out to Boston to stay with
timeripple and
cadragongirl in their new apartment. Visited Wellesley, went to Japan Center, wandered around Chinatown and got bakery stuff (which I ate for breakfast). Saw other friends. Good times.
This morning I went to the orthodontist. I can haz braces? D:
...okay, so they're clear. But there's pressure, and it feels weird and makes my lips stick out funny and ugh. I'll get used to them, I'm sure, but. At least I can still speak normally. Teaching pronunciation for a few years comes in handy, who knew.
I go home on Tuesday. Well, I'll have to FIND a home, since I don't have an apartment. You get the idea.
