Can I just say, I've had enough of death, near-death, and dying for the immediate future?  Seriously.  A break would be nice.

I suppose working a 13 hour day today didn't help much. 

The best and worst of times yesterday.

I went to prison in the morning.  Ugly place, but nothing unusually bad happened.  Talked with three guys at length, said hi to a few more.  One has been there for 3 years without a trial.  If you don´t have money for a lawyer and somebody pushing for your release, tough luck - you rot in there.  I´m doing what ( Read more... )

Please send some prayers/warm thoughts/good vibes for my godson, who is back in the hospital yet again and is not doing well at all.  He´s so skinny and little, he looks way younger than 5,  and either the illness or the medicine is taking away his appetite, and of course his mom is really worried.

Ecuador's papers report at least 5 dead, dozens still missing, and three villages completely wiped out. Banos is a mess.

So sad.
