I had an unexpected, but very welcome, visit from my godson yesterday. He came into town for about three hours...with his fiancee. To tell me that he'd gotten engaged. He'd just come from the talk with her parents and they were both just absolutely giddy and very in love. They've been dating on and off for the past couple of years (he's been working in a different city) and she's a sweet girl. Literally the girl next door, or rather, across the street, they've been friends for a long time and have a solid relationship He's almost 22 and she's 19, he's working and got his own apartment, and nope, nobody's pregnant. I'm so happy, and proud, but...sniffle, my baby's all grown up.

And come Tuesday, my brood officially increases to 8, with at least one more coming in January. Happy Baptism!
