Members of the Initiative group of the National Platform of Armenia of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum issued a statement which in particular runs that they do not approve the competence of the Armenian National Platform coordinating council to convene a general conference and to carry out replenishment. The authors disagree with the decisions taken at December 25, 2010 meeting, as well as they record with regret that in this phase, Armenian NGOs failed to form a National Platform on a strong and institutional basis.
The authors of the statement believe the only solution is to stop the processes of any election, formation of ruling bodies and replenishment. They think it is necessary to focus on the content of the activities of the Platform organizing debates and discussions.
