FOREVER AND IN ETERNITY

Chapter.1
Once back in Aydindril, Kahlan orders a garden to be built inside the Confessors Palace that everyone can enjoy. She gets word that the garden is finally done, so she heads there wondering what it looks like. She helped with all the planning and helped choose which flowers to put in it. Along with her favorites there are red, white, yellow and pink roses and tulips. Carnations, Sunflowers and Marigolds. Theres also the most beautiful fountain she has ever seen, the outside is made of white marble and the inside is engraved with the finest gold. All of it surrounded by glass walls with a double glass door entry way. On her way there shes so deep in thought thinking of the garden, she hadn't realized someone was following her until....
"Kahlan!!!" the voice yelled. She didn't have to turn around to see who it was, she knew exactly who it was. Richard! they hadn't talked since arriving back in Aydindril and when Richard did want to talk she would send him away. She certainly didn't want to talk at this very moment. She continued walking down the hall towards the garden as fast as she could.
"KAHLAN, KAHLAN, WAIT!!!" Richard yelled. No luck she didn't turn around, he had no choice but to try and catch her before she reached the garden because if he didn't Kahlan would lock herself in there until he left, which he would never leave until it was dark outside, so she would be in there quite a while.
She was about to put her hand on the gardens glass door to open it when a hand caught her shoulder, she was to afraid to turn around and confront Richard face to face. "Richard I----I'm sorry" she said still facing the doors.
"Kahlan! Why are you apologizing? You don't even know what i've come to talk to you about yet." He says, spinning her around to face him.
"I'm apologizing for always sending you away and for not talking to you. It was wrong of me to do!"
"Kahlan, I dont care about that. What I want to know is why you were sending me away? Thats all."
She didn't know what to say or how to say it. She was quiet for so long Richard looked like he had another question forming in his head and he was about to ask her it. All could she could tell him was the truth "It was for the best Richard, I had to really make sure that what Nicci did to me with my own magic wouldn't somehow come back."
"And? What did Zedd say about it?"
"He said every things fine and that what Nicci did to me is gone. But i've been so afraid that it would come back and that I would kill you again, for real this time. Thats the only reason why i've been keeping my distance from you."
"Why didn't you just tell me all of this instead of sending me away? There have been so many thoughts going through my mind. Very bad thoughts Kahlan! He could see the tears in her eyes wanting to escape and her trying hard to keep them from falling. He takes a step towards her wanting to reach out to her, hold her and comfort her but he resists and simply tells her "Every things okay Kahlan, I forgive you for everything, even though forgiving you is not the hard part. Trying to make you see how much I love you is."
"I know you love me Richard, there was never a doubt in my mind that you didnt. Its just I couldnt love you until I was sure I would never hurt you again." Looking at him she realizes for the first time that what ever she did or what ever she might do in the future, Richard will never stop loving her. She takes a deep breath and says "I love you Richard with all my heart and soul!"
Hearing the words hes been dying to hear for weeks now leave Kahlans lips, fills him with such joy he cant help but to grab her and pull her towards him hugging her so tightly not wanting to let go of her ever again.
"Richard!! Your sort of smashing me."
"OH, Sorry!" He says laughing a little.
He pulls back just a little to study her face and look into her beautiful blue eyes "I love you Kahlan, forever and in eternity I will love you!" He says as he cups her face so gently and yet with such passion as he kisses her, never wanting the moment to end.
