Characters: OU!Sonic the Hedgehog & OU!Giselle
Where: Ci-Tessera
When: Shortly after Sonic discovered her location and realized she was in trouble
Summary: Some vampires aren't the friendliest of folk. And Sonic is never one to turn down the opportunity to help someone in need. It comes with the job!
Warnings: Not so well Giselle? This is Sonic. What's the worst that could happen? XD
Sonic was no stranger to flashy entrances, and in this case and with what he had at his disposal, it was his most convenient method of travel if something urgent had come up. This was one of those times. He helped aid a Goddess in her most desperate time of need, he had probably saved the planet from disaster far too many times to keep count, and he had made some interesting friends here. No matter what this world tried to make of him; a soldier of war, a slave to senseless fighting, whatever was thrown his way... The blue hedgehog would never stop stepping up for those that could use someone in a pinch.
Sonic would always be a hero for somebody.
"Chaos Control!!" His voice post to the damsel in distress had timed out shortly after his cry, the power of the synthetic Chaos Emerald flowing through him and helping him defy all the laws of physics. Floating at first but soon disappearing in a bright blue flash, he immediately teleported towards his new destination. Ci-Tessera. It didn't even take a second for him to make it there. Time had come to a halt all about him and his body was warped without any time lost. And suddenly, it was done, another brilliant flash of light enveloped Ci-Tessera before breaking off in a display of sparkles. Landing with enough grace to back up his reputation, he brought his emerald-hued gaze up from the floor with a confident smile, surveying his surroundings before giving the Emerald a quick toss before catching and putting it away.
"Too easy." And now came the part of his job that he liked the most. Saving people. If Giselle was in the area, he hoped that he didn't startle with suddenly teleporting into her room. And to that, his voice lost a portion of it's cockiness and was replaced with a more calm and caring tone. One that reached out to those who needed somebody the most and was a compassionate hero. A lot of show but carrying the whole package of business with it; that was his style.
"Hey... Giselle?" And then his focus turned towards a bed in the room, one that was currently occupied by a girl who might as well have popped out of a fairy tale. ... Minus the neck bandages and a look of fright within her eyes. Poor girl, the fact that it seemed that the injury was on the neck confirmed his suspicions from before. A light frown marred the hedgehog's lips, but tried not to show it too much in front of the lady. 'Yup... Definitely a vampire. She'll be alright though!'
He didn't want to get too close least he startled her (he didn't know if she was one of those people who weren't familiar with hedgehogs like himself...yet), but he did offer a warm and welcoming smile, a shine in his emerald-hued eyes that told the girl that there wasn't anything to be afraid of and that everything was going to be alright. She probably didn't even know any better... Boy if he knew who this guy was he would have taught whoever it was a lesson (cuff or no cuff, he'd find a way for some kind of payback!).
"Hey... Sorry about the flashy entrance there, if it startled you," he beamed in an attempt to shed some light on the situation.
