[Thread] The best policy?
Characters: OU!Sweeney Todd, OU!Johanna Barker.
Where: Dor-Eski.
When: After Todd asks her to come to his dorm.
Summary: Todd finally decides honesty is the best policy, because it would only be a matter of time until his alternate told Johanna of his past 'sins'.

Sweeney was nervous, pacing back and forth in the bedroom anxiously. He walked towards the far wall, turning sharply once he reached it, walking back over to where he begun. His shoes clopped against the floor in a regular pattern, mimicing a heartbeat. What was he to do? He knew he had to tell Johanna, he knew. He couldn't keep his past hidden from her, nor would he allow his alternate to sully his name by telling her along with using choice words to describe him. Todd quickly thought of the proper words to say and how to say them, trying to figure out how to exactly soften the blow.
Would this break her trust? Could it? Sweeney was gaining her trust back from the incident in the shop, the whole nearly slaughtering her thing. Could she accept that her father practiced for Turpin on commoners? That was half, if not most, of his reason for killing the others. His motive was complex, having to do with society as a whole and how he deemed everyone deserving of death. Even he, and even his allies, because it was a relief, a release. He mercy killed the innocent and slaughtered the wicked, how was he wrong?
..but..he was starting to have his regrets. The slowly returning 'sanity' in the man's mind making him understand those people may have had lives and families just like he had before Turpin's accusation. Was he no better than the judge for possibly ripping families apart? These sudden thoughts made a chill run down his spine. No..No, he wasn't wrong..he was practicing, he did the right thing.
