Mello felt the need to get out. It wasn't that he wanted to leave Matt behind, but he needed a little air. Things with the red head went fairly well yesterday. He was happy things seemed to be progressing at least, but he was still worried about his friend.

Still, the other one lingered on his mind. Her actions really put him off and he wasn't looking forward to their next session of training together. It was obvious to him that she didn't want things to be resolved. If she had been honest about not wanting the chocolates to go to waste, she would have at least made some minute effort to take off the note at the very least. He imagined it made no difference and that it would have resulted in the same if it had been any other gift of apology.

He sighed, taking a seat on the bench in the garden. It would definitely make training more of a pain than it already was, but it was his fault for stepping into her group. Maybe he should have just formed his own. The male Matt would have come with him, he knew that much. Maybe he wouldn't be stuck with L either, but that was another story entirely. Why were there more than two L's? Either one was an impostor or they had issues here. If that were the case, the other Mello might be brought back. That thought made him feel uneasy. What if the other came back? He'd just fuck Matt over again, wouldn't he? He'd just undo all that he had worked for while he was here. He didn't want Matt falling back into that suicidal mindset.

The blond leaned back on the bench, running his hand though his hair. There were too many issues running around the Wammy kids over here, and he didn't like it. Things had been bad enough when they were kids. He had hoped not to deal with that again. On the other hand, when did things ever become normal and uncomplicated for him. If it's not Kira, it's something else.

Little did he know, Kira was still a problem here.
