Summary: Jing comes over to comfort Atem following Riza's disappearance. That love potion might complicate things just a fraction, though!

The apartment had that hollow, empty sound so common in empty houses, and Atem hated it. Not even the chirping of the Gods could banish that ringing sound, and the feline pharaoh sighed as she finished cleaning. Not that there were any roommates now, but she still had an obligation to keep it clean, just in case someone new showed up.
Once she'd put her things away, she walked over to the fridge, desperate for something to drink. Her eyes went straight to the bottle of herbal tea sitting in front of her water bottle, and she blinked, wondering when last she'd asked for some tea. But she shrugged it off and took the bottle, deciding some herbal tea would be just the thing her jangled nerves needed. Grabbing a book on the way, she curled up on the couch, one ear half-turned towards the door so she could hear when Jing arrived. Part of her was immensely glad he was still around; she'd have gone mad otherwise!
