Ahiru bounded through the snowdrifts in the park, carrying the ice skates from the Indigeo. She was well aware that there had been scary stuff going on lately, but she was trying not to let it keep her from doing what she wanted. And so she was going ice skating.
When Ahiru reached the lake, she stared out at the frozen surface with a giddy giggle. She was used to swimming in water, so the thought of gliding on the water amused her. Quickly she kicked off her shoes and put on the ice skates. Then the little duck turned girl took her first tentative steps out onto the ice.
