Summary: Guys, he's stuck. You know the drill.

Sawyer was used to people being surprised that he was a bookworm. Hey, let's face it, the redneck attitude was the first and most noticeable thing about him. He didn't mind the assumptions, because the look of surprise on their face when they caught sight of what he was reading was always so entertaining.
At the moment he had found a paperback Dickens novel that looked worthwhile, and, tucking it in the back pocket of his jeans, turned to leave only to find himself stuck. It didn't freak him out as much as it could have, but that was only because he was getting used to the idea of magic, living here and all. Hell, a glance up at the big old sprig of mistletoe suspended above his head and he pretty much had this game figured out.
For a second he remembered back just after they had crashed. Jack and Sayid had assumed he'd had some medicine they needed for a sick girl and instead of just confessing from the start that he didn't have it he'd played at being a jerk. It had all been working out until they'd tied him to a tree and tortured him, which hadn't been so fun. But finally he'd agreed to tell Kate his side of the story. His price had been a kiss, which had admittedly gotten him free only to be stabbed by Sayid a second later but hey. Bygones. 'Course this situation here didn't have near as much blood and screaming as that time but other than that? Yeah, little similar. Well hey, might as well just hang around until someone else showed up and then get out of this mess, too.
