Gabumon flopped his head down on Yamato's lap, and rolled his eyes up to his partner. He wasn't sure why, but Yamato once called it his "puppy-eyes look." What Gabumon did know was that it was usually enough to get Yamato to cheer up some, and even get a few extra snacks. But for now, just cheering up his human would be what the doctor-mon called for.

Yamato glanced up a little when he noticed Gabumon coming over, and smiled a touch as he was given that puppy eyes look. "Hey there," he said, setting the harmonica down.

"I'm HUUUUUUUUUUUNGRY," Gabumon whined playfully.

"Oh, really?" Yamato grinned some. "You mean the tray of sushi you ate is gone already?"

Gabumon sniffed playfully, and said, "Sushi is a snack. I want FOOD!"

"Of course." Cooking for Digimon always involved huge amounts of food. Yamato was quite used to it. "What do you want?"

Gabumon tossed around various thoughts, then went with what was top-most in his heart. "I want to see you truly happy again. I want to play tag with Piemon...." Gabumon blinked, and chuckled. "Did you think I'd say something like that five years ago?"

Yamato smiled faintly. "No, not really." He didn't say anything about Gabumon wanting to see him truly happy again. He didn't think that would happen until he was with Bakura and Piemon again.

Gabumon sighed some, snuggling his partner. "How much trouble do you think Piemon's getting into?"

"As much as Bakura will let him, and not nearly as much as he actually wants." That was a given, after all.

"How do you think your husband will react to a Kuwagumon?" Gabumon asked. He snortd some. It had been years since he last saw one, but knowing Piemon, he would talk Gennai and Bakura into visiting the Village of Beginnings. That meant going to File Island, which meant Kuwagumon and other Adult level Digimon should be the worst that they'd come across. Gennai could take care of their protection, if it was needed.

Yamato couldn't help but laugh. "Knowing him? He'll probably want to beat the hell out of it." And that would be a beautiful sight, too...

Gabumon chuckled. "I can't wait to see that. Hopefully they'll wait for us...." Gabumon blushed as his tummy rumbled again. "Heh.... feed me?"

"If he doesn't, he'll probably be glad to do a repeat performance." Yamato couldn't wait to see it. Then he chuckled. "All right. I think I've got some of your favorites waiting."
