[Thread] “Alcohol may be man's worst enemy but…”

Summary: Kurogane and Fye do a trade; information for alcohol. Tomoyo comes along to ask the questions.

Kurogane carried a bag with what was needed to buy information from Fye. He had given Tomoyo the basics of what had happened last time, reducing the attack by Fay to ‘why the hell didn’t you tell me that cat goes into heat?!’ The rest he had summarized with the bare minimum of glaring, giving her just what he thought was prudent to her understanding what happened so she’d help.
Since he still only understood half of all this, he figured it would be best to have someone who knew the two halves of the cat with him. He looked down at the girl walking with him as they finally came to the right door. Tomoyo would at least have a better hold on what they needed to know. His understanding of magic was close to none as was his knowledge of what had been going on these past few years.
Kurogane knocked curtly on the door, and shoved his free hand into his pocket. A thought occurred to him, “Remind me to get my cloak back from the cat.”
