Where: Outside, at the park.
When: Sunset.
Summary: Belldandy goes after Rock. And then things go downhill.
Warnings: Evil Belldandy and violence.

Belldandy threw up a barrier to deflect the attacks. She, being a Goddess, did not require air. Of course, she couldn't speak without it. And she couldn't do much else anyway. She had to maintain the attack and barrier and it was better to just focus on that.

But that concentration was broken as someone else interfered. The bullet hit her shoulder, the force of the shot sending her down to the ground, hitting the ground with a loud thud as the spell broke and air rushed back into the area.

Of course, Belldandy was not out yet. She pushed herself off the ground, wincing at the pain in her shoulder, but she would endure. She felt worse before. She glared at the intruder. "Interrupting my fun, I see?"

Rock coughed.

The air flooding back into his lungs was hoped for, but at the same time, still completely unexpected. It felt like his armor had been compressing him, and it'd just decided to decompress all at once. A part of Rock had to wonder how exactly that kind of feeling came about...

But he became distracted when he saw the green armored figured.

"J-John??"

Belldandy threw up her hand, stopping the bullets in the air before they reached her with another barrier, giving John a cold look. "You had your shot. You interrupted my fun. And already feel relieved? You think this will save him." She said, her tone cold.

She crossed her arms in front of her. "You do not know what you're messing with." She said and started the chant in her ancient tongue. "Wind, pressure, you are under my command. Sharpening and condense and become my blade. Show my enemy no mercy." She chanted and separated her hands to point at both beings, sending several blades of air at them both. They weren't so lethal being spread out, but if they weren't careful and lucky, the blades could easily become very dangerous.

Rock's eyes widened at the attack, but his focus wasn't on the blades being sent his way. No, he couldn't take his eyes off the blades being sent John's way. He was gonna get hurt, he knew this. This was Rock's responsibility, and he knew this, but the last thing he wanted to see was anyone getting hurt in his behalf.

Which is why the thought of John being hurt by Rock's inability to help angered him.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Rock yelled out, rolling out of the way of the blades of air before aiming his Shining Laser at the goddess. However, instead of firing, he kicked his jet skates into gear, losing any steady footing Rock may have had with the ground as he fired the laser while moving.

Whether it was hitting her or not, he didn't know, but he had something else in mind.

Belldandy threw up another barrier to block the bullets. After all, normal bullets were just fast moving pieces of metal. Rather easy to deflect those. She looked at Rock as he started to fire, ducking under the first shot and putting up a stronger barrier, the wind blades weakening as she did this.

And they weakened more as Belldandy noticed that erratic movement Rock was making. He's planning something. She thought and the blades stopped completely as she took to the air again, firing a blast of energy at Rock from above.

And just like that, the smaller girl popped into the fray. She had been observing how everything was going for the last few days, and was biding her time. She knew little about the alliance but, to no surprise, it was run as slip shod as anything here in Econtra. She was bothered hearing about Jing, both his "betrayal," and his inevitable beat down. She wished she could have prevented that, but there was little to do about it now. People in Econtra were glad to be sans cuff, and were now able to demonstrate to Jing how they felt about that.

Still, no cuffs would certainly come in handy. Like now.

She had watched the fight only a moment or so before she realized they would need another distraction. Obviously engaging her, even at two, was going to be difficult. So Gaz watched, waited, and when she took aim at Rock and fired, that was when Gaz shot a matter of dark energy of her own at Belldandy. It was a stinging blast, and not meant to do MUCH injury, but it would be enough to throw her off her focus.

He'd had many 'firsts' since being tossed into this mad city. Here was not just a taste of armed conflict within these walls, but a fracas with the supernatural. This found representation in the wind blades and energy blasts the goddess was raining down on the two armored warriors.

Eyes hidden behind a canopy of leaves tensed as the Spartan caught two of the missiles, despite his superior training and technology. The observer should've feared for himself; a mortal considerably less blessed. Yet there was only an icy calm in his veins as he laid there prone, ready to intervene; a heightened sense of things for this world as it really was.

Another girl had joined the fight, energy of her own lancing from her hands. From outside appearances, it looked like they had the same thing in mind. Good.

"Caribou: Cougar in position.", came Leon's coded message over the Spartan's side of their PDAs, screened to him. "Shoebox ready to fly at your signal. Over."

Seemed he picked a good time to show up. Fye wasn't one to worry about whether Belldadny would be alright or not, after all, she was stronger than him by a long shot. Therefore, when he heard the battle going on as he approached, he thought nothing of the three or four people teaming up against her. Belldandy had someone else's power as well aiding her, so she was even stronger. Strong enough that without his help, she could defeat those idiots on her own without his help, and perhaps escape with the bare minimum of scratches

The flash of lightning revealed the Banshee Queen standing only a few yards away from Leon. She had taken an archer's stance, and, as the dusk collapsed back on the fighters, the Ranger-General sent arrow after arrow into the sky. The five would arc high, calculated to rain down on the airborne Belldandy all at once. It was another distraction -- though if one or several arrows hit, Sylvanas would not mind.

C.C. seized the edge of the trunk, peering out at the multitude of fighters that had appeared to contend against Belldandy. She had told Rock she would provide assistance, so she had came, as soon as she had received the message. Yet, now that she had arrived, she could feel her heart beating rapidly, each palpitation lined with fear and anxiety.

Glancing over at Rock, she could feel her determination strengthen, and her mind hurried to process the best course of action to take.

There were so many there already, and they all seemed to have it under control...she wasn't certain what she could do to help. Divertion would probably be her best forte, but she wasn't certain if they had a plan - one she didn't want to mess up.

At a loss, she decided to stay hidden, waiting for the right opportunity.
