When you're evil. )
While deep inside he'd hoped for his signal to actually get through to everyone, he still somewhat doubted that his message would've actually been received. After all, he left the apartment with no guarantee that his note would've even been read. However, after watching the group of people come in and actually answer to his signal, he couldn't help but feel his optimism bubble up within him, a small smile cracking at his lips.
They would beat her.
Even if it was impossible, they would find a way to beat her.
So when Belldandy flew up to the air, Rock didn't let it disappoint him. Instead, he improvised on the spot. Cutting off the Shining Laser and bending low on the ground as he continued to skate along it, Rock used the built in spring coils in his legs to jump. It was a very basic and cost-effective attachment his sister Roll had added to his legs, but right now, it was proving extremely useful.
It made him jump higher than Belldandy.
Which made it that much easier when he came down on her with a barrage of plasma shots from his Buster Gun.

And then she felt it. That familiar power. She looked up at Urd and just flew out of the way of the attack just in time, throwing up a barrier for any stray parts of the bolt. "So...it seems dear big sister has come to see me." Belldandy said with a confident looking smirk. Though now, she had to admit, she was a bit worried. Urd, after all, could become a very dangerous threat if she wasn't careful. She threw up another barrier as the arrows came at her, watching Urd. She wasn't risking it now, expanding her senses to the area around her.
"Fye, there's someone hiding in the trees. Be careful of him. Probably a sniper." Belldandy said in warning.
She turned as Rock shot into the air. "Winds, strike down, and be true." She chanted, a short, strong gust of wind shooting forward to push Rock off course. "Fye, how many can you handle? I'll deal with Urd and those you can't!" She shouted. She would not lose.
Even if things were looking a bit more difficult now.

That done (including to herself), Mercury then raised her blade, ready to attack as she glared at Fye. "I don't like playing with toys," she quipped.

"Hey, that hurt my feelings," Gaz said, smiling in spite of herself. "I don't go around saying 'oh look, its that maniac goddess sadist,' do I?"
Still, the rapport would have to wait. She pushed back when she saw Rock go flying so he wouldn't get too injured and instantly regretted it. She grit her teeth as she felt the slices on her left hand. Of course. She HAD to use magic.
She swore, then glided over to Rock, her hand up in case she needed to make a repelling barrier. "You all right?"

Silently, Leon gritted his teeth. Every instinct told him to get out there and cover his Dark Ranger charge. Or add suppressing fire to that of the dodging John and his young friend. But he had a role of his own, and the Spartan trusted him to live it up to it when and only when the time was right.
For now, he was not to undermine their plan of action. Much less betray John's trust.
As if on cue, the blue haired girl's entrance somehow...calmed the federal agent's doubts and refocused his mind. His hand unhooked his PDA and his eyes roved the battlefield, centering on each of the gathered allies and matching names to faces. He began to add them to a secure channel, separate from where he'd transmitted to John. A trivial thing to do amidst the spraying bullets and crashing magic, but one that would serve its purpose.

"Hmm... perhaps a little less then half of them," he answered with a slightly twisted smirk crossing his face. "I'd prefer the longer range fighters, I handle them best." After all, being blind made fighting hand-on-hand a bit difficult.
Ooh! He felt the surge of someone's magic and focused on Mercury instead, intrigued by the jump it put in everyone's else. He cocked an eyebrow as the other said what she did. "I'm merely someone who enjoys watching people like you suffer," he replied, uncrossing his arms. And then he grew a little mocking. "I'll let you have the first strike~"
If he thought they needed it, he would have countered Mercury's spell with one of his own. Instead, he lifted a hand and summoned his own blade, holding it a bit carelessly in his left hand. After all, he had no interest in fighting one on one with anyone.

Urd's orders meshed with her own intended course of action. She listened to the banter, sifting through the boasts for something useful. So Fye preferred ranged fights? She saw the idle way he held his blade: it could be true, or he could be bluffing. Well. She knew a good way to find out.
Reaching out with her mind, the Dark Ranger called out to the bones in the tumbled-down graveyard. Come. Aid me. Three skeletons answered her summons, pulling their pieces together and struggling out of the ground with haste.
It was only puppetry. But it had protected her on uncountable occasions since the day her frail, hateful banshee spirit had crept back into her body.
(ooc: Three skeletons will come hurrying up to attack Fye next round, on Sylvanas' turn -- assuming Fye doesn't do something tricksy, that is. ^_^)

It was almost a relief to hear the silver-haired individual give out an order.
Fixating her gaze to the golden-eyed - demon, was it? - she waited until the suited figure had begun speeding towards him, before darting out from her hiding place. It wasn't the best decision, she knew. If anything, it was rather foolish, dashing towards someone with only the intention of trying to seize his arms.
However, she did have a plan behind this strange action...one that would undoubtedly have trouble coming to fruition.
[OOC: By the way, if anyone wants to kill C.C., feel free. Being immortal, she'll just come back~.]

It was at that moment that a strange sensation seemed to wash over him. An odd mixture of relaxation and adrenaline. In all honesty, it felt like he'd just gulped down an entire energy canteen. He felt refreshed.
Not only that, but he also felt reinvigorated. Even if he knew he wasn't doing much in this fight, he still felt like he could take on anything that the goddess had to offer and he'd be able to pull through. For a moment, he almost thought he was wearing the Omega armor parts, but it just felt that way.
Nonetheless, he smiled in determination, using that boost in his spirit to continue his assault.
If anything, constantly firing his buster at the goddess could've served as a distraction while she shielded herself.

Belldandy, for once, looked surprised at Urd's actions before her eyes got serious. Her clothes shifted to the battle suit, already starting up another spell, flying at Urd. Even if Urd unsealed her powers, Belldandy had the experience at controlling them. She threw up the defensive barrier around her. The combination from Urd's attack and Rock's blasts were a bit too much for the shield and part of Urd's blast got through.
She shot down to the ground several feet before she stopped herself, focusing on Urd, chanting the last word of the spell, sending a whirlwind of cutting wind at the older goddess.

The Goddess was using a barrier. Well, at the very least, Gaz was sure she'd be able to weaken it, if only a little. After all, her own barrier had kept the Entropi busy once. She focused her energy on Belldandy, allowing her own purple dome to form, and then unleashed a burst of dark energy at Belldandy, hoping to at least divert her attention.

Meanwhile... not only was there no more need to hold back, but Urd had given them a target. He tapped twice on the mouthpiece of his PDA. A wordless gesture that John would know meant, "Copy. Engaging."
A sleek shadow sent autumn leaves in disarray, dropping from the darkness of a treetop and hitting the ground in a crouch. The thin red line of a laser sight swept up and aimed into the heart of Ami's growing blizzard.
John, Rock, and Sylvanas' minions would then find machine pistol fire aiding them via an attack on Fye's right flank.
