Tim made his way down the street, paying just enough attention to the others to keep from running into them. He seemed to need a fairly ridiculous amount of time on his own these days, trying to clear his head. He felt... clouded. Or--busy. Like there were too many thoughts and not enough time to give them all voice.

And there was the whispering, but he was not going insane.

He was so wrapped up in his own thoughts that he almost didn't see Robin, and... Wow. He stopped dead in his tracks, and couldn't help but stare. Well. He'd said he was going for a change. That certainly qualified. Something inside him smirked a little, but he ignored it, lifting a hand in greeting. "Hey, Robin. Interesting look for you."

"Tim." He'd been the person Robin had dreaded seeing most. He'd braced himself for the worst, expecting a lot of anger, a lot of worry --

This wasn't the worst.

"Interesting isn't the word I'd go for -- but it works." Robin crossed the distance between him and Tim. "You?"

"Me?" Tim gave him a wry smirk. "I think I'll stick with the red and yellow look. I'm not exactly ready to fit myself for a Batman suit." He shrugged a little, looking at Robin curiously. "May I ask what precipitated the chance?"

Robin looked up to where the Obex waited in the sky. "Things have changed. We can't be complacent. Without the cuffs, there's no safety net here any more. It's a completely different game -- and well. This seemed to fit the playing field the best."

Persephone was curious about this new look of her boyfriend's that wasn't exactly new. It was on her way to his apartment with every intention to find out what was going on that she crossed Robin's path out on the street.

This... was probably the last look she was expecting. This didn't seem to bode well, at least in her opinion.

Fingers tightened on the staff the goddess was carrying, knuckles going white. The look Persephone was giving him right now was flat, unamused, and bordering on annoyance. "Please tell me you're kidding." If this was a joke, it wasn't a very nice one.

There was the anger he'd been looking for. He hadn't planned on being it's target but Robin was well aware that Persephone had reason to dislike the suit he now wore. He couldn't blame her -- he could only get this over with quickly.

"I warned you that you wouldn't like this."

Oh, he was lucky if Persephone didn't try to smite him slowly right now. "Well thank you for the heads-up," she snapped, face twitching. "Guessing you haven't forgotten me this time around, then?"

"No," Robin said, studying her reactions carefully. "Not at all. This time -- all that's happened is I've put on a different uniform. I'm still me. That hasn't changed."

Cissie was working out some of her frustration with archery. She knew it wouldn't help her. She knew being out alone in the park right now, without the cuffs and with the Keepers right there, was not the smartest move, but she needed to do something. Robin was angry, Kon was not himself, Quatre was worried, Helena was clearly cracked, Tim was--she didn't know. And she didn't know what to do about any of it. But archery--archery she knew. She could nock an arrow, pull the string, aim and shoot--and the arrow would go precisely where she wanted it.

Her arm, shoulder and back muscles were starting to burn when she felt eyes watching her. She let one last arrow fly and turned her head, wary of who she might see. Her eyes widened when she saw Robin--she recognized him, but the suit was... very different. Must be the new look he had been referring to. "Uh... Robin?"

"Cissie," Robin said, with a nod of greeting. "You're really good." It wasn't a compliment, exactly, more like acknowledgement of a fact. Still positive though.

"You're about to run out of arrows though," he noted.

"I hope so," she replied, smirking--and teasing--a little. "I don't think they give out Olympic medals to people who aren't capable, although they could just be sympathy prizes--'you have no life, here, have a medal.'" She glanced down at the single arrow left and shrugged. "I should stop anyway. I don't normally shoot so many at once."

Cissie set her bow down and turned to look at Robin, eyeing the costume change carefully. "So this is the new look you mentioned?"

"That would sort of go against the goal of the Olympics, wouldn't it? Promoting competition, exchange and self-pity?" Robin teased as he joined Cissie. "Want a hand tidying up?"

He stayed still as Cissie looked him over, letting her take in the costume. "That's right. Though it's not so much a new look. I've worn this before but -- not entirely by choice."

Duo had his arms full of various supplies, dried and canned food, bottles of water and soda? Also chocolate, little bit. He walked casually accross the plaza, heading back home to eat the spoils of his outing. Turning his head, he caught a form out of the corner of his eye. He turned his head and turned back to his way. Then..

Double take.. "Robin?" he asks. Glancing over at the boy, looking him up and down. Not liking the classic beat the shit out of Duo look, he thought, and it was clearly read on his face. He would have said something, before noting the black and orange..

"Please tell me you're going to change back after Halloween?"

Robin winced internally at Duo's reaction -- still, he couldn't blame his friend for not being happy. Happy had little to do with why he'd chosen to don this particular uniform after all.

Still -- only thing he could do was show people that he was still him, despite the uniform choice. "If I said yes, would you give me some of that chocolate?" he asked with a grin that would have been very out of place on Slade's Apprentice.
