Helena laughed in stunned amazement as the Doctor pulled a broom from his pocket. She didn't quite hear much of what the Doctor had to say -about- the broom because Helena was much to enthralled at the simple existence of it.

Helena got up after sputtering out a few stunned 'thank yous, that is so cools, and tell me how you did its' in a speedy, repetive kind of way and reached for the broom. She hastily took it the pile of roaches frozen in the room and scooped them up onto the dustpan.

"That's amazing! It even really truly works!"

Helena laughed, thanked the Doctor again, and then headed to the door with the full dustpan in hand. "I am -really- glad I got to meet you Doctor, I mean, you are like a walking Really Useful Book!" she spoje excitedly.

"Oh! And I'm just going to take these outside real quick, I'll be right back, so please don't go anywhere! I'll be right back, guys!"

Helena dashed out of the room leaving Cissie, Alice, and the Doctor in her wake. She smiled widely to herself... friends at last!

[[OOC: Alright, guys! I'm logging off for bed, so please, continue to get acquainted with each other. (I) Helena will return shortly with an empty dustpan in tow. Er... Tomorrow more like. :)]]

Cissie also laughed, both at the Doctor's cheeky wink and broom-procuring as well as Helena's giddy, bubbly rambling. Helena seemed to her to be something of a force of nature--she reminded Cissie of Bart, back when he was still Impulse and young and sweet. She missed him.

Cissie shook her head a little as Helena dashed off, smiling fondly--she was surprised by how much she already liked the girl. She had never made friends easily, but she wasn't about to question it. Her smile widened as returned her attention to the Doctor. "That was impressive," she said. "Those pockets must come in handy!"

Alice had been in the corner freezing insects, but looked up when she heard the familiar voice. "Oh, the Doctor," Alice exclaimed. "Are you also squatting here too? Sorry to have woken you (have we?) but as Helena said, we're tidying this place up a bit. How are you?"

The broom was definitely new, and confirmed Alice suspicions that, in the Doctor's case, there was more than meets the eye. Alice wasn't surprised (in her wonderland, how could she be), but still gave appreciative clap. "That was brilliant."

Helena ran back inside the church after discarding her frozen pile of roaches. She almost stumbled coming back into the church a few times. Lots of stuff everywhere. However, Helena was happy. Finally she had something to do and people to do it with. All she needed was a good distraction from her new entrapment and cleaning out the church and making a room for herself to get away to would help considerably.

Helena quickly fumbled her way back into the rectory to find Alice, Cissie, and the Doctor looking quite alright and, to Helena, happy.

"Back! Alright... so, these books! I need to put all these books back on the shelves.. I feel bad about throwing them, I mean I -like- books but I don't like the roaches more."

Helena smiled, set down the dustpan on the desk, and headed over to pick up the larger of the books that she had thrown. But she was still wary of the roaches and picked up each book slowly, checking every inch above, on, under, in, and around the books where a roach could be hiding.
