Summary: Ilyana wants to talk to Erk. Erk isn't sure whether to hope for something or not.

Erk waited nervously at the café for Ilyana to arrive. They'd established over the communicator that neither of them had been hurt during the mass hallucinations or the chaos following the party, but Ilyana had wanted to talk to him in person.
Erk wasn't quite sure what to expect. Ilyana had said she needed time to think about what had happened when the truth serum had been released. She hadn't said anything when they spoke over the communicators, but Erk suspected that that was what this was about. He tried to keep himself from getting his hopes up, but his mind kept straying back to the idea that just maybe he had a chance after all.
