Summary: Alice trains by the lot.

Not that Alice would let a thing like feeling unwanted deter her. She had come here for some purpose, and until that was carried out, she would still be here. There was little reason to do anything else, and though she had made a few friends, it was rather vexing to know that they were as closed in as she was. This would make little difference to her, as she was used to not having many people top trust anyway. It was just as well.
She had chosen the lot because, these days, stable concrete under her feet was somewhat comforting. It meant that she could hurt herself, and that was better than thinking she'd always have the soft ground to break her fall. In any case, she had trained with King Leonaidas, and wished she had someone to train with right now. She wanted to see how well she'd improved at grappling, and if she was quicker than she'd been once.
"My kingdom for an opponent," Alice said, sighing.
