He didn't even bother dragging around his useless heap of what might as well be scrap metal. He'd have to do all of this requisitioning people kept telling him about. Or borrow that one girl's tools. (Or steal them, but hey--he might be evil sorta, but like the E.L.E. could really be watching here and now.) His mind swirled with the possibilities--there were so many, after all.
First thing was first, though. He'd need a place to work, and he had to face it: his room wasn't going to cut it.
...Okay, the truth was, he probably could've fit everything he needed in there, used to the cramped lifestyle of his old apartment, but he didn't know these people. And he was actually totally okay with the thought of meeting Urd face to face for once. Oh, sure, he was certain there were other people around who weren't going to really give a damn what he did or who he was (felt like home all over again), as he'd learned--but he seemed to really connect with this woman. Goddess. ...He didn't buy the goddess bit, but whatever, she was all right, and he could use all the allies he could get.
He'd thought about being inconspicuous for once, going out in normal clothes so as to not attract unwanted attention (like, say, from that irritating Rumor chick), but he didn't really want to go through all the explaining things about alter egos and swearing Urd to secrecy and all of that other junk villains and heroes had to go through. Might as well keep it simple. And he had backup in case things went wrong. It wasn't like he was doing anything wrong, so.
The clinic was, much like the bank he had failed to rob a week ago, a mess. It was, in fact, much like every other building around. Dilapidated. Depressing. Much like what would find in the crappier areas of LA. But it was a start.
