Kurogane knew it was stupid to keep it secret. He knew the action itself was stupid. He HAD been planning on telling Fai, but he wanted things to be...less complicated before that. Especially since...he didn't want Fai to be distant from him.
Kurogane didn't like to depend on people, but with what happened, he needed SOME sort of comfort. Which was why he had been a bit more clingy than usual to Fai. Fai was that comfort and security. And with his own feelings still in a state of uncertainty, it made him almost...scared to think of him distancing himself from Kurogane.
He didn't want that. So that's why he waited in the apartment with a freshly made chocolate blood cake, and flowers in a vase. He hadn't been able to think of what else to get as gifts, so he hoped these were a good start, at least.
