still here
not spending much time on the internet. now i must try and remember what has happened for the last few days. done some more work in the backyard. in fact, we've used over two pallettes of retaining wall bricks. the well is starting to look pretty nice. it was too hot to work on Wednesday, so we went to a big nursury near here and bought plants. Gwen let me choose all the plants for her herb garden. looking at it today, though, i may need to go back and get more. the bed is longer than i thought it was. so i've been doing some hard work and getting more stiff and sore. Mom still drags me out the the gym and for walks, though. if i wasn't eating so much food (they feed me well around here), i'd probably be dropping weight like crazy.
on Monday, Gwen, Mom, and I went met up for lunch with my Aunt Connie and her granddaughter (my second cousin?) for lunch. also met one of the 'cousins' for Germany. she was a nice girl. a little bored with being out in sorta rural Bellingham at seventeen. not much interaction with people her age and she can't go to clubs and stuff here like she can at home. she seemed to be taking it well, though. we did some shopping while we were out. i got a nice jacket i can wear to my cousin's wedding and a new pair of jeans. i didn't need the jeans, but Lane Bryant has changed their jeans again. now they've got three different fits based on body type. different shapes for people like me with big butts but small bellies or the women with waists and hips that are fairly close to the same size. and the ones for my 'type' fit wonderfully. i may actually go and buy another pair before i leave.
anyway, i'm supposed to be awakened early tomorrow to make a breakfast run to Starbucks. i'm voting for Gwen to go into labor tonight, though, so that Zoe will be born on Friday the 13th. hey, Gwen was born on Halloween. it fits. : )
