hmmm....wazzup with me?
Friday night J and I had poutine. then we went shopping! whee! i got a nice pair of brown slacks and some shirts. the slacks fit very well and are machine washable. gotta love that. now if i could just find a pair of khaki's that fit, i'd be golden. we also went to the bookstore. heehee. hey, i've got a plane trip next week; i need reading material. really. : )
the rest of the weekend...i did nothing. okay, i read and watched TV, but in an incredibly lethargic manner. i didn't make it to the gym either day, and i was planning on going on both! bad me. the only useful thing i did on Saturday was clean the toilet. and take out the garbage...or was that Sunday? of course, that trip to the garbage cans was the only time i made it outside of my apartment. i was invited to a party on Saturday, and i was planning on going. yeah, that didn't happen. the whole idea of the weekend was to get some work done, but that barely happened either. i was supposed to finish editing my class' final exam and make the study guide for it. nope. okay, i did about a quarter of the final exam. had to finish it and do the study guide on Monday.
Monday was also notable for the fact that there was a Fantasia Party here on campus. three girls organized it as a fund raiser; the $3 cover and 10% of sales are going to breast cancer research. so J and i went to that. i got home around ten, ate some food, and read a little (bad me) before i got started on the study guide. amazingly, i was in bed by four this morning. go figure.
so i did a quickie review of the study guide with the students in class today. on Thursday, they'll get to ask questions. and then that's it. no more lectures. anyway, i'm going to the gym tonight since i skipped Sunday. and i think i'll leave school early and go grocery shopping too. i don't actually have any pressing work for once. go me.
in other news, it's snowing.
