Rage + Laughter = WTF!??!

Mmmm 5am wakeup call from traffic outside? Awesome. I woke up in one of those rages where you basically hate everything and everyone just for being. I managed to avoid utterly destroying my roommates this morning and didn't kill anyone on the bus.. but I sure was close to taking that metro train right off the tracks when it haughtily closed its doors in my face. Missed my bus to the office so I was forced to walk again. No biggy since my stern suggestion for a better showing from 'le soleil' was appropriately honoured. Nothing like a beautiful crisp walk in the morning to shed the demons of the rise and shine time.

On the way home some lady tried to stiff body me at the door to a building above the metro. I opened the door and proceeded to enter when she, dragging some luggage, moved toward the entraneway as if I wasn't there. I contemplated her possible reasoning for this and touched upon the idea that she may have thought I was going to hold the door for her... but that is a pretty weak assumption based on my body positioning, choice of door opening arm and the people behind me. So I've concluded she was just a dumb biyatch who was lucky to have not seen the glance I shot her mid blockage... leftover rage or just commute induced anger? One might never know.

Thereafter things went ok - I just started 'On the Road' by Jack Kerouac and have so far been enjoying the writing style and have smiled/laughed at some of his phrase choices. My last couple of books were a little light on the levity so I'm happy this is turning out well so far. I look forward to delving more deeply into its literary recesses.

I wasted the evening watching mindless internet movies and the advertisements from the superbowl that Global television so kindly overwrote with Canadian advertising trash on game day. I was very impressed for the most part and Adam and I got a lot of good laughs from the chimps and other miscellaneous goofy clips! Check out http://dyn.ifilm.com/superbowlads/ if you're interested. Big props to careerbuilder.com.

I decided to stay with the comedy theme and watched Eddie Murphy - Delirious. LMAO for a number of parts so that was nice. Definitely the funniest 'white guy' I've ever seen done!!! I love Eddie!! I can't believe he was 22 when he did that show though... I am 22 NOW! And you don't see me making tonnes of money and getting.. uhhh ladies left, right and centre! Nor should you! That's private son! =0P

Let's hope for a full night's sleep tonight. Traffic can kiss my ace.

^_^
