So I guess tomorrow is the big day... the one where couples come together to exchange gifts and profess their love for each other. And here I am allllll alone... awwwwwwwwwwwww. PFFFFFFFFFFFF as if. It's crazy.. but I just backtraced my relationship history on a whim and a hunch and I've determined that this is my first V-Day alone since ohhhh let's say Grade 11. I'm now certain that this is my destiny being fulfilled. I know that I couldn't possibly have found my final match without first experiencing another V-Day alone. Hahaha. Right. Well, anyways, I've got lots of time to find Miss Right. But my roommate assures me that I will so that's good to know.
I hung out with Monica last Saturday and that was fun! We climbed Mont Royal and I got to see the beautiful view of Montreal that I'm told is even better at night!! Once I acquire a camera I'm going to go so that I can see for myself! I'm sure it will be awesome. We then proceeded toward le Basilique Notre Dame in Old Montrael only to arrive to discover it had closed for the day. *sigh* Apparently it's a really beautiful church and from the pictures I've seen I'm inclined to agree. We will go back later on when Monica has some time away from her currently dominating studies... She also gave me a tour of Chinatown which was nice... and crazy! I tried this Dragon's Beard candy which is not too bad... of course Monica doesn't like it so she had one and gave me the rest! I also tried some other item that I have no idea of the name of nor the ingredients within! It was gross. A lot of walking in 3 or 4 hours but a good, fun day nonetheless! I proceeded to get home and fall asleep at 7pm. =0D Now that is good times!!
I undoubtedly filled the rest of the time on the weekend with movie/TV watching and playing around trying to get things working with Linux... still. I went to the gym on Sunday (which I normally do.. and did today as well) and the work week began.
Mostly uneventful week save for Wednesday which was mildly less uneventful as I chilled with Jon for a while and we ended up at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Not really my thing but definitely had some interesting pieces.
This weekend was uneventful as well but relaxingly so. I've gotten Linux to a point where we're seeing eye to eye... on the same page... etc. So I've just got a few more kinks to work out with hardware before I can start playing around with software a bit more. =0)
I've decided that the high I get after working out is on par with actually being high, if not better. It does require that there be no stress after the workout (ie. no rush to get anywhere... no concern about whether there is food at home.. etc.) but man that's hot. Robobabe hot. Mmmmm.
Adam will be proud of me! I played Final Fantasy X this weekend a fair bit and am now engrossed to the point that I will undoubtedly play it regularly until completion! I also played some FIFA and watched Family Guy. I'm starting to do it up ova heea!
Time for more vidja games.. or a movie.. or whateva. Lates!
EDIT: was 'Mrs. Right' - Can't slip anything by eagle-eyes Shelton!
