He drives a hot car. He lives by a set of rules. He's a man of few words. He drinks Orangina. Oh, and he kicks ass and takes names. He's everybody's favorite transporter, Frank Martin.
Day 17 - Favorite film quote
This... almost feels like cheating, but it's just SO GOOD. I haven't actually picked Die Hard for anything else, so even though this quote spans four movies, I'm considering it legit.
If it could be favorite film monologue, it'd be Ed Norton's Fuck You mirror diatribe from 25th Hour, but I don't think a 5-minute monologue counts...
Day 18 - The best overall cast in a film
On paper, I'd lean toward the soon-to-be-released The Expendables. Seriously, if you're an action fan, it's just the most insanely awesome cast ever... even though it doesn't look like that great a movie, which kills me. Either way, I haven't seen it, so it's out. I just wanted to throw it out there.
As for actual candidates, I've been tossing around The Usual Suspects, LA Confidential, the Star Trek reboot, Snatch, Pulp Fiction... but you know what? I'm gonna throw a total curve ball and toss is in a movie from BEFORE I WAS BORN. I don't watch a lot of those, so this means it's gotta be good. I have to go with...
It's SUCH a good movie and the cast is just beyond impressive.
