I paid $1,077 in non-refundable money to appraisers, contractors, utility companies, etc. I got the earnest money back, which I have to repay to my dad.
I filed a complaint with the BBB. New South denied the claim. The BBB responded on my behalf, restating my claim. New South said 'same answer'. So I asked the BBB for arbitration. I waited 3 weeks and heard nothing. I emailed the BBB again, restated my problem and asked to make sure New South agreed to arbitration, because I was NOT ABOUT TO GIVE UP.

Yesterday I rented a car, took off work today, and woke up to go car shopping, because my car is undriveable. It's dead; ready to be put out of its misery. Long time coming. But I had no downpayment. S'ok, I figured I'd find an inexpensive car and do the best I could.
The BBB called my cell this morning and left a message saying "New South Federal came by this morning and dropped off a check for you for $1,077. They're not admitting fault, but their lawyer advised them it would be easier to go ahead and pay the amount you're asking rather than continue."
I am now about to leave the house and go pick up my check. BECAUSE I FUCKING WON, AND I WAS RIGHT, AND THEY TREATED ME LIKE SHIT, AND I DIDN'T GIVE UP!!!!!!!
