Kyn and I went to see Kick-Ass the other day. (The addition of Mark Strong to the cast was a turning point for Kyn. That guy is like the go-to villian nowadays!) I enjoyed my time with the movie, but not to a huge degree. I really loved the Hit Girl and Big Daddy relationship. Mark Strong as the bad guy was simply awesome. I have never seen nor heard of the "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" comics. I did, however, just see the trailer for the movie based on the comics.

I cannot believe how geeky this movie is. Like, I'm talking in a "No More Heroes", "Soulcaliber", "Street Fighter" video game kind of geeky.

That was odd. The Hollywood Video store at the corner of our street just up and poofed on us over the weekend. Well, I saw Transformers: Rise of the Fallen yesterday with the ladies and... Well, I'm not exactly sure that "...it makes The Terminator look like Jane Eyre..." as one reviewer put it.
