It was a bit late but Sakuno wanted to go tend to the gardens anyway. After the onsen trip she had been a bit worried about things as most of the gardening club members had gone along as well. She was sure everything would be fine for the two days but she hadn't really done any work there in a while. What with everything that had been going on between learning about the Night Class and what happened to Yuuta she had been a bit lost in her thoughts. With the watering can in hand she carefully sprayed the flowers and plants with care. It was a good place to quiet her thoughts with a little busy work that helped the greenery as well.

Marui was glad. They were back from the onsen trip and he could find a way to avoid the humans more this way. He didn't mind them one bit but he was worried about that Atobe was going to tell him after he admitted to feeding on a human. The red head made his way towards the garden. With it being late he was sure he could find it empty and just rest for a bit and maybe wait for Sanada to come. The boy stopped at the garden when he saw the girl there. "Ah." He watched her for a moment trying to figure out if he recognized her.

Sakuno was daydreaming a little by now and didn't notice him nearby at all. When she started working on the gardens she always found her own little peace of mind and she had missed it. It had honestly been a few weeks since she had really been able to just be there carefree. When she stopped by before it was always just to quickly make sure everything was okay and no equipment was left behind. The rest of the club had been very thoughtful in taking care of things for her when she was caught up in other things; which she thought would never happen. Namely Sanada and Yukimura who were able to take care of things at night since everyone in the Day Class had been preoccupied between the curfew changes before the trip. But now everything was getting back to normal; or at least as normal as it could be, for everyone else it was relatively normal at least.

It was good she didn't seem to notice him at all but it was also dangerous in a way to be that out of it not to notice. He watched her for a moment and moved forward reaching out to grab a hold of her shoulder. "Excuse me." He said hoping to get her attention.

He took her by complete surprise and she jumped, though was able to keep a decent enough grip on the watering can only to spill it a little on herself. If she had lost her grip she would have ended up splashing it right in his face, which would have been horrible. After she had gotten her bearings, she glanced back at whoever was gripping her shoulder. "Y-Yes..?"

"You should be more careful." He told her. "If you stay like that for to long you'll be late getting back from curfew to as well. You still have sometime though." He told her. The redhead gave her a small smile. She was a little amusing at least.

"Oh..." she blinked, not realizing she had spaced out that much. Then again she had started a bit later than she was used to, but at least the curfews were extended now. However that just meant if she ended up missing it it would be all the stranger. "I suppose I was daydreaming a little. Th-Thank you... ano..?" Sakuno turned slightly to face him, he didn't seem familiar and she didn't think she had ever met him before.

"You're welcome." He muttered and blinked as she looked at him. "Ah right." He grinned it took him a moment to realize that she probably didn't know him at all. "Marui Bunta...and you?"

"Ryuuzaki Sakuno." she smiled back, his name sounded a bit familiar but she still couldn't quite put her finger on it. "It's nice to meet you."

"Ryuuzaki Sakuno...." He muttered softly. The redhead looked at her for a long moment. "It's nice to meet you to." He trailed off and then smiled. "Now i know. Gen's friend!"

"Eh..?" Sakuno blinked, trying to register the name for a moment. "Oh, you mean Sanada-san, yes." she smiled again. "Do you know Sanada-san as well, Marui-san?"

The redhead gave a nod of his head. "I do Gen's my cousin." He told her. "It's actually good to meet you. I'm glad i can talk to one of Gen's friends."

"Oh!" Now that he mentioned it, she finally recalled how his name was familiar. Sanada had mentioned him to her before on more than one occasion, she felt so silly to have forgotten. "Sanada-san's told me about you before as well, I apologize I had forgotten. It's nice to meet a cousin of Sanada-san's like yourself as well, Marui-san." She couldn't help blush ever so slightly from embarrassment at not realizing who he was.

"I'm glad." He grinned happy that Sanada had talked about him to someone. "I'm really glad he's made a friend that's not family of course." He fiddled with his hair for a moment "I hope he's only said good things." It was a joke. Sanada was to nice to say bad things. "He really likes you."

"Of course, he was worried about you a few times but he speaks highly of you." Sakuno smiled once more. It was interesting how different quite a few of the Night Class students looked even though they were cousins. But then again Sakuno kept forgetting that they were vampires; so perhaps that was just normal, it wasn't as if lots of cousins looked too alike anyway she supposed. She couldn't help blush again at his last comment though, "O-Oh, I really like Sanada-san too. He was my first friend when I came here, heh."

"You were his to i'm sure. Gen's...special." He grinned at her thinking of his cousin. "He's not very good with words a lot of time and he's not good with handling people but he's gotten so much better. I'm really proud of him." He was filled with love for his cousin and moved to sit down at the edge of the garden looking back at her. "Have a seat..."

"Special?" she asked curiously, setting down the watering can and sitting down as well. "Is that because he's a vamp-..." Sakuno stopped herself before continuing, covering her mouth a little sheepishly. Well that would be a silly thing to just let slip out like that. But it was the only thing she could think of when Marui had mentioned Sanada being special. (Which was obviously not what he meant since as his cousin that meant he was also a vampire.)

"Vamp..." He looked over a ther. "How did you find out?" He frowned a little. Why did a human know that his cousin was a vampire. Did it have anything to do with Atobe being mad? With someone being attacked against their will? "Did Gen tell you?"

"N-No..! Well... sort of..." Sakuno fidgeted a little trying formulate the easiest explanation. "Sanada-san explained it to me before the onsen trip... my best friend had told me about it because she was bitten by her boyfriend a while ago. And it turns out Yuuta... my boyfriend was also attacked by a student before the trip too." It was surprising to her now that she hadn't been bitten yet. With those closest to her being attacked by students even; but she trusted the Night Class still, after all they were protecting them as well. Those had just been... accidents.

So it had to do with a little of everything going on. He nodded. "Mm i see. I'm sorry that it happened like that." He shook his head. "But no i don't mean special because of him being a vampire. "I just think he's special. For a long time i was his best friend." Marui grinned. "Sometimes i get a little jealous that he's making other friends but i know it's good for him. He's sweet and he's special because of that."

Sakuno nodded as well, she was glad he seemed to understand everything that she mentioned. It seemed word spread well amongst them anyway. Though even saying it still felt a bit surreal to her. "I think... I understand what you mean. Sanada-san has a very kind and caring heart." she smiled brightly. He had been very understanding and patient explaining what they were to her; even going as far as showing his powers. It was all overwhelming but at the same time comforting because he answered any question she happened to have, even if it was silly. (Like when she asked to touch his fang.) "But I'm sure no matter how many friends he makes you'll always be his best friend though, Marui-san."

"I know." He said softly. "It took time to realize it but to Gen I know i'm special to him." He tilted his head back to look at the sky. "I'm glad other people can see what type of person Gen is."

"I'm sure you're also special as well, Marui-san. You're so caring of Sanada-san after all. I'm happy to meet someone who's known him for so long." She glanced up at the sky as well, it had been a while since she had seen it and been able to admire it so peacefully. It was a bit funny how calm she could be knowing that the person sitting beside her was actually a vampire. Her hands did tremble slightly subconsciously as the fear lingered a little, but she ignored it for the cold and cupped them in her lap.

Marui was happy. "Thank you Ryuuzaki-san. That's very nice of you." The redhead turned and looked at her noticing the slight tremble. "Are you cold?"

"Oh... a little I suppose." she replied, glancing down at her hands for a moment as they continued to shake ever so slightly. "I always seem to forget how much colder it gets out at night, heh." Though she didn't particularly feel too cold her cheeks were a bit red now too. But it was just so nice out it would be a shame to leave just because she was a little chilly. It wasn't quite curfew yet, she was pretty sure.

Marui gave a small nod of his head. "I'm not that big so this should help." He undid his school jacket and held it over to her. "Here.."

"A-Are you sure..?" she worried slightly, looking up at the jacket. "Won't you be cold then, Marui-san?"

"I'll be okay. It doesn't bother me as much." He grinned. "Put it on. Gen would get mad at me if i let you get sick..."

"If you're sure..." She took the jacket and was hesitant to put it on still. "But I don't want you to get sick either, Marui-san." she frowned slightly. That wouldn't make Sanada happy either she was pretty sure.

"I won't get sick Ryuuzaki-san. I'm perfectly healthy." Marui told her gently. "Trust me."

"O-Okay..." Well, if he insisted she just had to trust him. Then again she remembered Sanada mentioning they didn't catch colds either, though she still worried. With a small nod Sakuno finally put the jacket on; it was quite warm. She doubted she would feel any of the cold now with it on, the trembling seemed to stop too. "Thank you, Marui-san." she smiled sweetly.

He smiled back at her. "You're welcome." He said gently. He was quite for the moment unsure of what to say to her.

"Do you like coming to the gardens?" she couldn't help asking. She didn't think he came there just to warn her about the curfew and figured he must have been coming there for a reason.

"Mmm i do. I come here sometimes to help Gen with them. " The redhead looked back at her. "It's coming along good. It feels nice and makes me feel relaxed. I like nature a lot so it's a good place..."

"You help Sanada-san with the club work?" she blinked. "I'm surprised you haven't joined yet, but thanks for helping with it, heh." She was glad he liked the garden and nature as well, it made her happy that there were others who did.

"I perfer to be an unofficial member." He shrugged. "I haven't really thought about joining clubs at all but helping Gen makes things better so i enjoy it."

"We have a few of those too, heh. Thank you for the help though." she smiled again. It was endearing to her how much Marui cared about Sanada, even going as far as helping him with club activities.

Marui chuckled and winked. "You're welcome. It's not like it's hard though and me helping is selfish anyway." He reached down touching the ground and relaxed a little more

"Selfish..?" she blinked, looking over to him curiously. She wasn't quite sure how helping out could ever be considered selfish.

"I get to stay close to Gen. I get to relax." He said softly. "Pure selfishness."

"I'm sure that's not selfish at all. Sanada-san must feel the same after all." she giggled a little. "Definitely not selfishness at all."

He chuckled at that. "Ryuuzaki-san you're really sweet. No wonder Gen likes you." The redhead shook his head. "I don't mind working in a garden at all i'd do it if i needed to relax but i wouldn't help as much with out Gen helping."

"Eh..? N-Not at all..." she blushed a little at the compliment. "It's nice to have you helping out no matter the reason. So long as both you and Sanada-san enjoy it I'm happy, that's what the gardening club is all about anyway. Making a nice place to relax and enjoy nature." Sakuno smiled, admiring the garden even though she couldn't see it too well in the dark.

The redhead breathed in. "Well it's coming along wonderfully." He said gently. "Gen and you are taking wonderful care of it. The others to."

"Oh, thank you." Sakuno smiled, adjusting herself in the jacket a little. "I never imagined it would become such a big and beautiful project here, I'm so happy to have help from everyone."

"You're very welcome." He nodded looking over at her.

She could sit and admire and talk about the gardens and the club all night, but she realized she was being a little rude not opening the conversation more up to him. Sakuno glanced over a little sheepishly to him as well. "A-Ano... what is it that you like to do, Marui-san?"

"Huh?" Marui turned to look at her at that. "We'll I like hanging out with Gen. I'm starting to like cooking to. Jirou taught me some recipes that i enjoy cooking. Mainly cookies." He admitted with a grin.

She giggled a little when he said being with Sanada first, which she slightly expected him to. "Oh, you enjoy cooking? Cookies are quite fun to bake, heh." she smiled, a little surprised to hear he enjoyed baking. Then again it seemed the members of the Night Class always enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies.

The redhead gave a nod of his head. "They're really good and they make things taste better when they're not good at al." Marui admitted to her "I always keep some on me but they're really not good for you to try."

"Why is that?" she blinked curiously.

"What all did Gen tell you?" he tilted his head to the side.

"Tell me?" Sakuno blinked again, not sure what he was getting at right away. "O-Oh, you mean about vampires..?"

He gave a little nod of his head. "Right. About feeding or anything like that?"

"Oh... well he showed me tablets that he said kept you all alive but... they made him sick but he got blood from you and Yukimura-san." She fidgeted a little, feeling a little awkward saying it. It still sounded unreal, talking about people drinking blood-- but then again they weren't exactly people, they were vampires. "He also said the tablets tasted horrible..."

"Mmm." Marui nodded he enjoyed when Gen fed from him. He pouted a little at the fact that Yukimura fed Sanada to but he'd seen it happen a time or two. The redhead nodded again. "They're disgusting honestly so i've baked them in with the sweets." He admitted. "It covers the taste for me so i can stomach it. It's not as good as Gen's blood but...it helps. That's why you shouldn't have any of the sweets that i eat...the tablets are in them."

"I see..." she frowned a little. It was good that Marui had found a way to somehow enjoy the tablet s a little but it seemed the fact still remained they didn't help too much. They had each as well but... "So being around us must still be difficult then..." She recalled what had happened to Tomoka and Yuuta alike and also a few times when she had met with Sanada when he had seemed weak. It was no wonder the Night Class preferred to keep to themselves quite a bit.

"Yeah i suppose it is. Before we came here most of us was use to blood...not tablets. It's something they're working on though from what i can tell of making them more better for us. They're not the same as blood but they help." Marui muttered. "I don't know how they make them though but the people making them i'm sure are doing their best."

Sakuno simply nodded in response. She didn't know much about them to understand who or how they were developed but they seemed to be a step in the right direction. Though she could imagine how odd they were compared to the blood they were all used to; she just had to compare it to eating normal food as compared to a strict diet-- or something like that. But hearing about blood was still something she just couldn't get used to easily, she went a little quiet after, not quite sure what to say.

The redhead sighed softly unsure of what to say as well. He wasn't use to telling this much to humans, well he wasn't as use to dealing with them either but that was different. "What would you like to talk about?" He finally asked

"O-Oh, forgive me... here I was asking you what you liked to do and it came to this." she bowed her head a little apologetically. "Ano... what was it like growing up with Sanada-san?" Sakuno found herself asking curiously. It was clear they were very close and Marui always seemed to enjoy talking about his cousin. She felt a bit bad leading the conversation to an awkward point just before as well and hoped it would lighten the mood a little.

Marui's eyes light up at the sound of his cousin and smiled brightly. "It was wonderful. He was my best friend and i adore him. He was the cutest as a little boy i have pictures..." Marui grinned. "He's always been quite though like hs is now never out going. I was the one dragging him around and making him do things and doing what i wanted to do. Gen though is so good he'd give in to me even if he didn't want to because he wanted me happy. He really is the best." Marui muttered. "I use to drag him to sweet shops...he doesn't like the smell of them because it's to overwhelmingly sweet but you should see the way he'll try to act tough like it doesn't bother him one bit. He's never asked to do anything though I try to tell him...but he'd rather do what other people want...it's the way he is."

Sakuno couldn't help but giggle at how excitedly he spoke about his cousin. She nodded to his story quite a bit, understanding exactly what he was talking about. "So he's always been like that, heh~" The thought of seeing a little Sanada acting the same way as he did indeed cute.

He smiled and gave a nod of his head. "Always. I've tried but he still won't change not that i want to but ya know sometimes it's good to hear what he wants to do come out of his mouth. It'd make me really happy one day if he came to me and said i want to do...whatever it is. Dragging him around is always fun so i don't want him to change he's fine with who he is...he's the best." Marui muttered cheeks slightly flushed. Talking about Sanada was his favorite thing. He was his world after all.

Sakuno smiled back, it made her happy seeing him talk so animatedly; she loved listening to what others enjoyed talking about. She also was learning a little more about Sanada too thanks to it. "It's so nice that you're both so close, I don't think I could be as close to my cousins as you two are. It's very endearing to hear about; you really care about Sanada-san, and I'm sure he cares a lot about you too."

"Of course. I love Gen." Marui muttered with out thinking twice about it. "He's the most important person in my life." He watched Sakuno. "You probably wont' be. The thing with us is that we're all raised close, family wise anyway."

"I see." she nodded. She didn't think much about him saying it as well; it was only natural to love your family. If they were raised to be close saying the same about your cousin wasn't strange either. "Is that because you're aristocrats?" Sanada had mentioned the different levels to her before though she still didn't completely understand them all.

"Maybe." Marui muttered. "I don't know about the other levels i just know our family was."

"Oh..." Well, at least that meant Sakuno wasn't the only one who didn't understand it all. Different social classes were usually like that so it must have been the same for vampires as well; or something along those lines.

"Gen's really told you a lot hasn't he? He must really trust you." Marui was quite for a long moment.

"He has... when I first learned about everything he explained whatever I asked so I wouldn't be scared." Sakuno glanced down at her hands, glad that the trembling had long gone away. "He's been a very good friend so I just try to be the best I can to him too, though it seems he's always the one protecting and helping me, heh." she sighed lightly. Now that she knew the great difference between them she really didn't know how she could ever be of much help to him.

The redhead shook his head laughing. "I wouldn't say that. You being his friend...accepting him for what he is...that's the best you could ever do for him Ryuuzaki-san..."

Sakuno nodded, smiling again. She still wasn't sure that was the best she could do, but she was glad being his friend meant something. "Ano... I hope we can be friends as well, Marui-san." she fidgeted a little, glancing over to him a little shyly.

"Of course. You're a good person." Marui smiled at her. "We can be friends."

She smiled brightly back to him, she was glad she was able to be friends with him. A small, chilly breeze finally brought her back to reality after all of their conversations though. "O-Oh my, I had almost forgotten about the curfew... I should probably head back." How silly of her to almost forget when it had been the one thing he had gone out of his way to warn her about.

He chuckled. "Yes we don't want the student council to get mad at you." He nodded. "Be careful Ryuuzaki-san."

"Oh no, I'd hate to be a bother to Akutsu-san or the others." she worried slightly and got up to her feet. "Thank you for everything, Marui-san." She was about to walk off but stopped remembering she still had his jacket. "O-Oh, your jacket, I'm sorry." Sakuno apologized, nearly forgetting that as well.

"Go on." He told her shaking his head. "Return it when your warmer it's a bit of a walk to your dorm keep it. You can give it to Gen if you see him before me...."

"Are you sure..?" she still couldn't help asking.

"I said it and i meant it...go on." He grinned. "Maybe i'll make cookies safe for you to eat..."

"I'll make you something in return then." she smiled and then finally turned to head back to her dorm. She waved back to him one last time and was off. Sakuno was glad to have made a new friend and would be sure to give him back his jacket as soon as she could, along with making him something sweet as thanks.

Marui settled back down on the ground and tilted his head back after she disappeared and waited quietly for Sanada to show up hoping his Sanada would come find him.
