Christmas still isn't over yet for my little family. Brianna and I are flying back to Phoenix this afternoon. We've been here in the Bay Area now for a whole week. I am actually looking forward to going home. We've been away from Shannon and Alex and three days now, so it will be great to see them this evening. Upon our return, Alex and Brianna still have a ton of presents to open from Shannon and I, my in-laws, and my brother-in-law Rick and his wife.
My dad's surprise 60th birthday party was a smashing success on Saturday. He was so blown away.
I didn't get to see many of my friends while I was here, but I guess I should have expected that. Perhaps its time I realize that when I left to go to Arizona that the time to truly move on with a new life and all new friends was inevitable. Sometimes it is hard to let go.
I'll post some pics from the trip when I get home. Since I do not have to go to work until January 5th, I should manage to find a few minutes to arrange my pictures and to read my friends' page.
