My cat Sissy, who I thought would make it to her 18th birthday later this year, may not. She's having some kind of skin problem near her hind end region. As soon as we know more from the veternerian, I'll have a tough decision to make. If I have to put her down, it's simply because of her age. Her age is the sole reason I shouldn't gamble my family's funds on trying to buy her a little more time should she need surgery or costly medicines. Not my poor, cute little fluffball!
The dry skin condition is rapidly taken over my entire body. My face is getting better, and now I'm getting huge dry, red blotches on my arms, chest, and upper back. Some say it's stress, which it could be. Parenting isn't easy.
No Renaissance Festival trip this weekend. I may have to wait again until next year.
