Shannon's oldest friend in the world, Stefanie, is about to have a baby girl any minute now up in Las Vegas. yesterday, she picked up Alex from day care, and she and her mom and Alex drove to Sin City to be there for the event. these two practically have "Francesca" and Alex's futures decided. they call her Frankie for short. she should be born sometime today, and if she is, she and Alex would be exactly 6 months apart. Alex was born on Saturday, February 11th.
so for the first time since i moved here on August 17, 2005, i spent a night in the house alone. we've spent exactly 4 nights apart when i flew back to the Bay Area on 2 separate occasions. but it certainly was weird being here without them.
i hope Stefanie has as easy a delivery as Shannon did.
