Thanks to the ladies of girlgamers, I've found a program that will let me keep all my PC games and play them on a Mac. It makes me so happy and gives me just cause to go with a Mac. So yeah, I'm going with a Mac. I'll have stuff legally now. It's a good feeling. Meanwhile, I'm still a dirty, dirty pirate. XD
In other news, my film storyboard and shot list are done. I'm just going to make the storyboard an animatic and type the shot list, but that can wait until I can get into the labs again. Next up is animation! I'm not entirely sure I'm still going to go with the apathetic Little Red Riding Hood (Redds), her cat Nori-Lori with the bad French accent and hears voice in its head, and the Wolf. ... The Wolf's just a solid black mass of wolf. And a bit like Endling's Wolf in EverAfter, which makes me totally want to change the story. I'll be flipping through my delicious books of fairy tales. ... Hmm, maybe that's why it seems so much like EverAfter. And Fables, in a way. Maybe I'll take a different fable. Like... a Celtic one or something. I've been told I use too many things Japanese. Which I've realized isn't entirely true. Yes, I do like Japanese culture and it's the one I've been infatuated with recently, but it's not all that interest me and it's not all the music I listen to. Yeesh. But that is a rant for another time.
Anyways, I really like Redds, the apathetic, almost-Mandy-ish character. I'm trying to make her a bit more Burton-esque in design, so it hopefullu cuts down on production costs as well. I know she has a sister based on Little Bo Peep. That's about it. But Bo Peep doesn't come into this animation. >.>
I'm considering something based on a song. Like Panic! At the Disco, System of a Down, Rob Zombie... Something that tells a definitive story. Here's what I've got.

-The Used, "Yesterday's Feelings", In Love and Death
-The White Stripes, "Blue Orchid", Get Behind Me Satan

-Modest Mouse, "Ocean Breathes Salty", Good News For People Who Love Bad News
