I love mornings. I love the smell of fresh air. Love the grey clouds blanketing the rising crimson sun.
The only problem is, I usually do not wake up early enough to see them. Today, however, was an exception. And decided to go to the park for a walk and jog. Arrived at the park at 7 and what I saw surprised me. Seems like no one goes to the park at 7 in the morning except the middle age and senior folks.
Maybe the rest of the younger folks had better things to do at 7. Like go to work.
And the elder folks gave me strange looks. Like I should have better things to do then to take a walk in the park at 7. Like go to work. Maybe taking walks in parks was a privilege for the retired. I earned it buster, now get to work like the rest of the world.
It was just too bad no lean fit young chicks to look at. Ass luck man.
Ass luck.
Had an invitation to go down to Wala from
Aberwyn just the other day (who btw, just wrote an excellent piece on his views on
tomorrow.sg) and I told him I lost my wallet the other day, so cannot go.
Wa. Ass luck man. Another day then he replied.
How apt. That one line basically summed up my last month or so. Having to move out on short notice (3 days). Having to cough up a few thousand grand for some copyright infringement I had no part in but was still partially responsible for. Having to fail my IPPT and be condemned for 2 months of time wasting RT. Having to lose my wallet. Wa lan eh.
Talking about wallets, i always seem to lose wallets that were gifts to me. The last wallet I lost was a christmas present from firecow and his gf. The one before that was a gift from feenix.
The wallets I never lose are the cheapo ones I buy myself to use. Like those steady bom pi pi Velcro ones I used to use in secondary school.
