The lilacs are blooming! =D
This weekend was fun!
On friday i wandered around with some guys from my dorm at around midnight - we wanted to get the $1 all you can eat pancakes, but the line was miles long, so we wimped out. It helped a little that the people we were standing behind were lighting up some very poinent cigars. ^^; So we wandered the streets under the glare of the floodlight (it looked like day!), and Warren, Mini and i ended up going to Flying Burrito. i ate a whole burrito! Minus two bites (One from Warren, one from Etan), but still! My tummy was all round and happy. ^.^ Those things are so good... large and tasty. Huzzah!
Saterday, i saw the SCUM v. ICK show (Chemistry clubs blowing things up! Huzzah!), and the parade (Yay, tootsie rolls!). Then we went and got some homemade icecream (Oreo ish nummy!). It was a lot of fun, and the best part was seeing other age groups on campus. i mean, there were OLD people! There were YOUNG people! *GASP* i didn't have my camera, but Susan was sweet and let me use hers. ^ ___ ^ i love parades! There was this one little girl that chased after a clown - it was so funny! XD She was really booking it, with her Mum chasing after her. Heeee! i remember running out into the street to get candy too. Makes me wish i was that age again. Though i'm ridiculously happy as is, so perhaps not.
And i had a turkey-strawberry sandwich for dinner. =D Quite good - you ought to try it sometime!
Later that night, i walked to the HB and danced/sang a little with some drunk guy that wanted me to go to a party. 0 ___ o Then Mini and i climbed a tree to watch the fireworks. SPARKLY!! BOOM BOOM FIIIiiiizzzzZZZ! Aiii, fireworks are so fun! And i love that tree. i need to start climbing trees again.
On sunday Mini and i made onions and eggs like we had at my house for easter, and they (surprisingly!) turned out delicious! i got some stuff done, and there was free icecream (Mint bonbon here i come!) at the HB. Climbed another tree with Mini and then hung out at the HB doing an art project (it wasn't until today that i, sadly, found i have been working on the wrong piece, and that all my work was unnecessary and for naught. *sigh* Well, if i finish it, i can use it in my portfolio when i apply to Graphic Design) with TJ and Mini (they were working on D&D characters for the campaign this summer). i was up until 3am, with various people coming and leaving. It's really kind of creepy when no one is there. ^^ But i did have a friend that stayed with me until the wee hours - Jim the beetle! He took a nap a few times on my tracing paper, and he wasn't very talkative, but he was nice to have around.
And today the lilacs were blooming. =3 Such joy!
