previous part: Mrs. Cuddy doesn't write children's books
HOUSE: You know, you turned out remarkably close to normal, considering the genes in play. ♥
CUDDY: Thanks.
HOUSE: Here, in case your mom comes back.
Happy birthday.
CUDDY: Oh, you are a sweet, sweet man. Are you coming over?
HOUSE: Yes. Oh, no, I can't.
CUDDY: Wilson.
HOUSE: It's, uh, bowling night. He'll never forgive me if I don't-- Nah, screw it, I'm coming. [I'm not going there]
CUDDY: No, no, no, I'm not going to be responsible for that. [really not going there] You drugged the man, you go bowling with him.
HOUSE: Well my chances of sex are considerably lower with Wilson. [yay! Sara Hess went there!] Fine.
legs crossed towards each other. that's an unequivocal sex invite. XD
Squee!! I can't help it, these two are adorable. I love them hanging out in her office. I love them sitting close together on that couch. I love House telling her she turned out remarkably normal, considering the family she grew up with. I love the way House looks at her (especially when she's not looking). I love the way Cuddy looks at him. I love Cuddy's legs (what?! of course it deserved a mention). I love the little kiss and the face-caressing. I love that the Wilson jokes aren't going away. I love that they're still just them, with kissing and sexiness and banter.
WILSON: Hey. You ready?
HOUSE: Here's the thing.
Oh, House. Trying this again. It'll probably work this time, because even if they find out, giving you a night off isn't out of the question. Everyone needs their space.
Is it mean that I'm kind of enjoying the fact that Wilson is getting plans cancelled on him because House has a girlfriend (or it's because he thinks it's because of Cuddy...although I'm sure she is an actual excuse on occasion)? It feels mean, especially since he's just going home to an empty loft...ooh! unless he's going bowling with...well, Chase's social calendar is rather full...does Foreman bowl?
I appreciate his commitment to getting bright blue paint and filling balloons with them (although why do I think paint ball guns...have paint balls ready-made somewhere...but wouldn't there be different colors? I'm officially thinking too much about this, right? I should just focus on the song in the background.)
Poor Tiny Taub. Not that he didn't bring this on himself, but still. I like his little smile as he goes to pick up more. Show is really showcasing his athletic abilities lately (tell me again why he failed miserably at squash or racquetball or whatever the hell sport he was supposed to be playing).
House, alone. Hi, pajama bottoms! Haven't seen you in a few episodes :D He does like his routines. I totally get this, too; some people just recharge by being by themselves. It's amazing, though, that House now has such a busy social calendar that he's trying to find ways he can stay home, alone. I can't imagine that Cuddy or Wilson wouldn't understand that...but then it looks like House doesn't want to hurt their feelings? Odd, that. How about: he gets his alone time *and* he gets to exercise his subterfuge muscles...*and* Wilson and Cuddy should learn about this so they get to do something (while we watch because I swear, even though W&C had scenes together in this episode, they don't actually talk to each other on screen, not directly. it's weird). That way, everybody wins!
But yay! CMFB!!!! As awesome as I'd hoped and anticipated. Come back soon!!!!! And then everyone can join in on mocking Wilson!!!!!
