Thinking about it, it's funny.
Everyone views dysfunctional families as bad. No one really wants them. Makes sense.
I think I've learned to prefer a dysfunctional sort of lifestyle. You get used to something and it becomes all that you know.
You'd think the noise would be too much. You'd think that having wanted to be more of a normal person would be preferable, especially when you become one under the conditions of the City. I've met people with oddities similar to my own. We don't have to hide here.
So why is it that I want to go back to my old life where I had to hide? I'm a free spirit. I have the opportunity to live freely here.
I guess it's no longer enough.
What sort of oddities are there where you come from that you usually dislike? A validation of sorts that others are of the same opinion, I guess.
