Adventures Through Brisvegas [episode 4]
Welcome one and all, MysCy broadcasting to you LIVE from Krissu-kun's freezer-like bedroom (I thought I could take the time to update you all on my day seeing as how I will be going home at 11am tomorrow...which means getting up early to catch the train into Central) in Brisvegas!
Today was Sunday for those of you keeping score at home. This generally means that shops are CLOSED for the day. Fortunately for us however (the lazy sods who bought lunch instead of finding something in the house we could make)...and my manga addiction... Chermside was open! Yay! We went to Borders (it now pwns my soul) and I bought more manga...only a few this time...Chobits vol 2, D.N.Angel vol 9 & 10, Le Portrait de Petite Cossette vol 1 and Clan of the Nakagamis (yes another yaoi manga!). Then we got lunch...no matter how many times I tell myself never to go to Chermside to get lunch between 11am and 1pm I always end up going anyway...I don't listen to myself enough. THEN I played DDR...I sucked pretty bad but I felt that it was a good try for a first timer who was sick and hadn't done any form of physical activity in almost a year...I was getting pretty good by the end (the instructions were all in Japanese...now whilst my kanji is coming along nicely I am nowhere near ready to be reading full instructions flying by on a arcade console...so I kinda had to figure it out as I went along and it isn't as easy as one would first imagine).Then I we went to EB and I bought a copy of the first .hack// game...preowned (although it looks like it has never been played) for $30 but most importantly I got my photo taken with the life sized Link model/stand/dealie! See...
We had to do it all subtle and ninja-like so the store wouldn't say anything...I dunno they might not want us taking pics of him or something...bwhahahahaha suckers I got one anyway!
