Happy New Year!
Well I came to Brisvegas for new years and I am staying at Krissu-kun's place but I am going home today (after we go to the city, the only reason I am on here is because he is still asleep...yeah I know, its10:10am and he's still asleep but meh I get to catch up on all of the net stuff I have missed over the past few days and use his fast broadband bwhahahahahaha).
Anyway we went out for new years. We went to South Bank to see the fire works (I was dressed up all pretty and lolita, I'll try to post pics when I get home) and random people talked to us (including some weird old drunk guy who was a few sandwiches short of a picnic who hugged us) and the fireworks were HUGE and so pretty! Also I forgot my 18+ card (I think I lost it somewhere) so we couldn't get in to Faith. But you know what? I don't care! You know why? Because yesterday Kris and I went to Chermside which has recently had a whole other building added onto it. It was big before but now it is frigging huge! Anyway it has a whole bunch of new stores including this neat bookstore with a coffee shop right in the middle of it. Now I just went in there hoping to find a nice book to keep me occupied at home. I ended up walking out of there after spending $140 on manga (mind you that was with 20% off of everything). I bought: volumes 16 through to 20 of Fruits Basket, volumes 3 & 4 of D.N.Angel, volume 1 of Chrno Crusade, volumes 4 & 5 of Bleach and volume 1 of Gravitation. But today we are going into the city where I will probably buy even more manga! Gods I love this city!
