Hello, hello, hello - how are we all today? I hope you all had fantastic Christmasses! Mine was brilliant - My main present was car insurance (+ half for my bday), and I also got some clothes, jewellery, etc. and my first ever hairdryer! At 17! I know, unbelievable - I really don't know how I lived without one all these years! I have some family ( Read more... )

OMG that's so weird: I saw the episode of Grey's yesterday where Bailey says "Duodenum", and then later I was like, "What's that word she said really oddly?" and then you mention it - freaky! ;)

Is House really good? I have a friend who swears by it, so I might have to investigate... :D

My prompt: "cigarette". Makes me think of that time Caroline was locked out of the hospital with that fag and no lighter. Hilarity.

Happy New Year!

Hello! Glad you had a good xmas, my main present was a little more immature: retro 1960s rollerskates! They are truly pointless yet cool and I love them. We did also get a really big shiny black new TV as a family present which is excellent as I can now watch all my new DVDs on a fucking massive screen (Secret Policeman's Ball, Dylan Moran and Bleak House ( ... )

Wish I could could get a certain other freakin' essay done- one containing the words "Othello", "imagery of heaven and hell" and "ways in which Shakespeare uses". Grrr.

I do remember how much of a wanker Guy is, and I loved him like that, wouldn't have changed a thing :P

But don't worry, I just read the lines from Mac in the Guardian and nrarly wept with grief and rekindled Caromac love- have you seen it:

"You are completely wonderful and he is a twat. It's got to work, hasn't it?"

*sob*

Good liuck with the modules! I have a critical thinking mock on the FIRST DAY BACK, the bastards. Don't worry about fic until you're good and done with school stuff and then worry about it in your every waking hour. That's my advice :D

Good luck!

I've just seen that quote, OMG, how heartbreaking!! Just the words 'completely wonderful', and the sarcastic, hurt, angry tone you can hear him using... aaargh I am so upset and excited and nervous and it's only a freakin' tv programme and I'm using [freakin'] far too much today but i don't care because aaaaaargh CAROMAC NEEDS TO BE!

Ok, deep breaths. Phew. It's really crept up on me thogh, I can't believe it's on on thursday!!

Oooh, critical thinking is evil! Do you have a module in Jan? Ours are just in June apparently, which is good seeing as we do NO work. Grr. I hates it.

That is damn good advice, I will definietely abide by it! (Although this biology is not going well, so I may just stray off the path into fiction for a little while... XD)

Hanaaaa! Thanks for the texts :) Sorry I ran out of credit though as I seemed to be doing a lot of Christmas texting. I swear I drove past your town on my way home yesterday, I was coming down from Newcastle along the A1/M1 (?) and I saw a sign and recognised the name. I'm sure you've mentioned it before. Haha I sound like a stalker. I should have popped round and said hello. I don't even know where you actually live but hey :P Sorry that's all a bit vague xD And yay Grey's Anatomy! It's all about Meredith/Derek and Cristina/Burke (she so totally stole my name but spells it wrong) :P Aaaaaaand DW... I got sad for The Doctor :( He looked so heart broken! "Her name was Rose..."

AND OMG GREEN WING SPECIAL SOON EEE I SAW ADVERTS FOR IT LATE LAST NIGHT!!! *Dance*

Rainton/Ripon/Harrogate? I live on the A1, you could've popped in to see me!! Ah well, as soon as I pass my driving test I'm coming straight down to your house to finally put a proper face to your name ;) (whether you like it or not!!)

I wanna see adverts, I never see any good adverts for anything! :( What did the adverts show?!?! XDXDXD

Well you can have a look for yourself... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6WbaPbohGw that's one of them anyway. I'm sure there are others :D

I enjoyed The Runaway Bride. Catharine Tate was good; she just began to grate on my nerves towards the end with all the shouting. Infact, it was a very shout-y episode.

I’m glad you enjoyed your Christmas. I got Green Wing series one and two which has rekindled my love of Mac/Caroline. It’s also rekindled my love of Boyce especially when he’s tormenting Alan.

So my prompt for the mini-challenge is Boyce inadvertently helping Mac realise his feelings for Caroline. And a yo-yo biscuit.

It was rather loud, wasn't it? Mind you, it needed to be with my younger cousins running around the house screaming their heads off, or I wouldn't have heard a word! I couldn't help expecting Ms Tate to come out with, "Am I bovvered?" or some such line; but she is a really good actress, and she pulled it off really well!

Oooh, another challenge! Might take me a little while due to (last minute) exam revision, but I'll give it a shot. One little question though - what do you mean by a yo-yo biscuit?? :D
