Hello, hello, hello - how are we all today? I hope you all had fantastic Christmasses! Mine was brilliant - My main present was car insurance (+ half for my bday), and I also got some clothes, jewellery, etc. and my first ever hairdryer! At 17! I know, unbelievable - I really don't know how I lived without one all these years! I have some family ( Read more... )

Woah, it's like a freakin essay! ;)

i'm glad you had a fab xmas, and retro rollerskates? How cool!!

The glasses are niiice arent they? I remember when he first wore them last xmas and all fangirls across the land were like, "GUUUH." Yum yum!

Hmm, you're challenge is interesting... well, j'accepte! Might take me a while though, as I have so far done about 10 mins of revision for my 3 modules which are in 11 days time... I just can't be bothered, y'know? We've done so many past papers at school that they're so boring now, and gaaah. It's Christmas/New Year, it's not meant for working!

If you need to rekindle your Caromac love, just go to S2E05, at about 38 minutes, and watch "the kiss" and all shall come back to you. That's what I do when I'm feeling down. Or watch the last bit of S2E07 in the restaurant, when he looks into her eyes and they talk about the lost property office (but switch it off before Sue appears, just to pretend that bit never happened!) Alternatively, go fic hunting and re-read your favourites - that always helps me :)

Guy's a tosser, remember all the things he said right at the start of series 1? About how Mac was such a bastard, and remember how he tried to split them up after Mac's coma by telling him Caroline and he used to hate each other, and then there was that massive misunderstanding, just when she thought they were getting on alright? 'Waanka!'

Lol, or alternatively I can try and write you something, but the chances are you'll find most of your evidence in the actual episodes themselves. XD

Wish I could could get a certain other freakin' essay done- one containing the words "Othello", "imagery of heaven and hell" and "ways in which Shakespeare uses". Grrr.

I do remember how much of a wanker Guy is, and I loved him like that, wouldn't have changed a thing :P

But don't worry, I just read the lines from Mac in the Guardian and nrarly wept with grief and rekindled Caromac love- have you seen it:

"You are completely wonderful and he is a twat. It's got to work, hasn't it?"

*sob*

Good liuck with the modules! I have a critical thinking mock on the FIRST DAY BACK, the bastards. Don't worry about fic until you're good and done with school stuff and then worry about it in your every waking hour. That's my advice :D

Good luck!

I've just seen that quote, OMG, how heartbreaking!! Just the words 'completely wonderful', and the sarcastic, hurt, angry tone you can hear him using... aaargh I am so upset and excited and nervous and it's only a freakin' tv programme and I'm using [freakin'] far too much today but i don't care because aaaaaargh CAROMAC NEEDS TO BE!

Ok, deep breaths. Phew. It's really crept up on me thogh, I can't believe it's on on thursday!!

Oooh, critical thinking is evil! Do you have a module in Jan? Ours are just in June apparently, which is good seeing as we do NO work. Grr. I hates it.

That is damn good advice, I will definietely abide by it! (Although this biology is not going well, so I may just stray off the path into fiction for a little while... XD)

I know! I keep thinking "hold on- it's JUST a TV programme." OH but it's so much more! So much freakin' more! (There I'm doing too.)

I saw Tamsin Greig last night in Much Ado in London and met her at the stage door after and she's lovely and really funny too but it always shocks me how big people look in real life- I mean, you sort of go, "Gosh, she's a REAL PERSON!" But anyway.

We don't do modules, and apart from crit thinking I have no bloody idea when our mocks are going to be, I only know that our real exams are in May/June or thereabouts. I really don't think I've learnt enough :(

So I too may be tempted to stray into the path of fanfiction as well...but I've started my own story (I figure that if I want to be a writer I need to get ahead of the game) and the first two chapters are up at my journal if you want a look. To my utter shame, the main characters surname is...well, just have a look.

Hehe freakin' is the new black, je pense!

Aww, Tamsin, I do heart her! I bet she was really lovely! I met Billie Piper in October in London and she was so lovely too. And I saw Terry Wogan in Harrogate (the town near me) and he was fucking massive! I thought he was quite short but he's really tall in RL!

I never think I've learnt enough, but then often I come out with a good mark so dont' worry about it: critical thinking is just about common sense, and I'm sure someone like you has plenty of that!

Ooh, I remember you first posting that story - I will definitely have to have a proper look at it soon, but I'm on a little roll for the moment with your fic, so keep reminding me and I will get round to it!

(And I dont' even have to look to have a pretty good guess it's Macartney...!)

Oui, oui, je suis d'accord! Freakin' est le bon mot :P (Did that make ANY sense? It's been ages since I did French.)

Aussi, Macartney est le bon mot, at least for surnames for characters. Although I did have a very long struglle between Macartney and something else that i can't remember. But Macartney just sounds best so...yes.

Keep on the roll! I am depserate for reviewers, as always, so i shall keep reminding you *evil grin*

Also- Mr Guppy from Bleack House is Owen from Torchwood! I love it when fandoms collide! If Dickens can be called a fandom, but hey, if he's good enough for DW, he's good enough for me.
Crit Thinking will probs be fine- it really is just over simplified history with some common sense, so I should be ok, considering that I actually do history and are one of the few people that actually listends in class, if only to make sarcastic and politic comments.
